hair clips/grips/slides?
i have long hair but have front bits that come out of a ponytail, normally when it's wet though i can just tuck it back behind my ears or stick it down somehow.
either that or you need to put all the front bit into sections and little bobbles at the top, and the tie all of that into the ponytail. Do you get what i mean? or you can kinda do a crown ponytail, then a half including the crown, then a full including all sections, so you have three bobbles securing it all together.
or maybe even some sort of hairband?
this sounds v confusing i know, i hope you get what i mean!!

(note: i am a girl so some of my ideas are probably inappropriate!!)

The easiest thing for me to do, was have my wife braid my ponytail and use two or three hair ties to keep it all together. It works pretty well (not 100%, that's for sure) but it's better than the alternative! :)

Used to have my wife do the same thing to my hair, braid it and just used several (mine was so long, it used 5-6) bands to keep it together....

it was better then nothing...

When my hair was that length, I would put just the top half in a pony tail and let the underneath just hang loose (since, it would inevitably come loose eventually).

You can also try putting the front/top hair in a ponytail at the top of your head and then take another section of hair including the first ponytail at the back of your head and the remainder of your hair and the ponytail at the bottom of your hairline on the back of your head. You will have three ponytail holders down the back of your head. You could also braid between the first & second holder and the second & third holder. My daughter has fine hair and this method works better for her hair than a braid.

Wear a relatively snug baseball cap, and push your hair through the hole in the back of the cap. It'll protect you from the sun, the excess water absorbed by the cap will keep you cool whilst waiting on line for slides or rides, and you hair going through the hole will help keep the hat on your head so's you won't lose it.

This reminds me of the time couple years back a member in here complaining about "hairy backed men" using Disney pools.

That's funny. I don't complain about it though, I just get out of the pool, hah. :animwink:

that's what I tried to explain, but you did it better than me!! :animwink:

As a hairy backed man, I'm offended!

Kidding, of course. In order to not make anyone elses experience at the parks unpleasant by my...ahem...lupine appearance, I wear a t-shirt. Sure, it's a bit warmer, but I'd rather everyone has fun and doesn't get bothered by my appearance. :)
