Trip Report Loco_Driving through the night - Live!

It’s finally time for another TR from yours truly! I will be reporting live from WDW for the week!

Those of you who know me already know the cast for this one. It’s just the two of us. Myself and my much better half, the lovely Mrs. Loco. Here we are at Walt’s tiny castle last fall!

We will be leaving this evening and driving overnight. Much like @brifraz , I ain’t scared of a little all night driving!

I have the day off today, but the wife wasn’t so lucky. So I’ve been spending the day loading up the trusty RAV4(shoutout to @amjt660 )!

Thanks for including us and it’s amazing how many rides you got on during the After hours. Would you say it’s worth paying out for that as we don’t know whether to do it if it’s still available in September.

Thanks for the info. Coming from the UK we already have the 14 day park ticket so not sure if we will pay out for extra. Loving all your fabulous photos.

I've done an After Hours party at HS and MK and for us it was definitely worth it but it was when we used it as a park day ticket. We would use that day to sleep late, stay at the resort or go to Disney Springs, then go to the park at 7PM until closing. We enjoyed it because there were next to no lines in the parks and no crowds. Being able to ride our favorite attractions multiple times with minimal wait made it worth losing a full day park ticket.

Another rough morning at disneys worst domestic theme park. Tons of rides down for early morning entry. Currently joined the masses at MMRR since tower, rise , slinky and rock n are all down. Sadly this seems to be the norm each time we visit.

We had exactly the same issue in August.. very frustrating.. and you can see the crowds rolling in and other available attractions overflowing in no time.. DHS.. nott our favourite either!

Thank you so much for the reply. I think we will seriously think about it now.

Hi! I’ve been meaning to ask you what happened on your Monday ride on Everest that almost got you evacuated?? As someone afraid of heights I like to know what I may encounter. Thanks for a great trip report!
We were stuck on the ride. We were in the indoors portion so I don’t think a fear of heights would’ve been affected. However I have seen trains stopped up on the lift hill which is pretty high. Have no fear though! They will do everything possible not to evacuate the ride. I say we were close because an attendant actually walked all the way up to us and said we might have to evacuate. Luckily the ride proceeded eventually. It was closed for several hours after our ride though.
