Trip Report Loco_Driving through the night - Live!

It’s finally time for another TR from yours truly! I will be reporting live from WDW for the week!

Those of you who know me already know the cast for this one. It’s just the two of us. Myself and my much better half, the lovely Mrs. Loco. Here we are at Walt’s tiny castle last fall!

We will be leaving this evening and driving overnight. Much like @brifraz , I ain’t scared of a little all night driving!

I have the day off today, but the wife wasn’t so lucky. So I’ve been spending the day loading up the trusty RAV4(shoutout to @amjt660 )!

It’s a good thing I didn’t prepare at all for our trip until today, now I have something to do!

Anyways I gotta go finish packing things up, stay tuned for more updates! I can’t wait to find out what I forgot to pack!

We stopped in Germany for lunch. Hi @Laurenciaa . You get Germany since I gave France to swissmiss. Just squint your eyes and pretend it’s Belgium!

So we bought after hours tickets for DHS a few months back. I’m usually not a big fan of the up charges, but we both love the after hours events! The day after we purchased the tickets, DVC decided to announce the moonlight magic dates, for WDW. They had one at Epcot the same night as our non refundable after hour’s tickets. Well guess what, we ended up going to both! Mostly the after hours, but moonlight magic comes with three snack vouchers that you can use at the festival booths before park closing, so we did make use of that. Here’s a few of the things we got.

This empanada may be my favorite dish from the FARTS.

Over to DHS via skyliner for the after hours.

We took two laps.

This room is never not awesome to me.

They foolishly let me hold a light saber.

Stopped to play in Andy’s backyard for a bit.

I won this game by a significant amount.

Slinky! I can’t believe our picture showed up!

Always a good sign.

We hung out here for several rounds.

We headed out just a little early after racking up on free ice cream and sodas.

We made it back to Epcot with an hour left during moonlight magic. Plenty of time to get in another lap on guardians!

Conga! I’m having a great time I promise.

We could’ve snuck in one more ride but we were too exhausted to walk back through the queue and pre show.

Alright for anyone keeping score. In one evening we managed to do the following attractions.

Figment, Pixar short film festival, living with the land, awesome planet, grand fiesta tour, guardians X 2, smugglers run, rise of the resistance X 2, TSMM, SDD, ToT X 3, MMRR.

That is what you call an absolutely bonkers night! Now time for me to hit the hay! I’ve got a lot of nothing to do tomorrow(or really today I guess).

Last night really did a number on us. We did make it to lunch on time though.

OMgosh, it looks like you had a blast in the after hours event! Wow, lots of rides done, no wonder you were bushed after all that fun!
In the Tower of Terror photo, it looks like the lady in the row beside yours is telling you to shush????? Take a look. It looks to me like she is shushing someone. Why I wonder? It's a scary ride afterall.

Thanks for including us and it’s amazing how many rides you got on during the After hours. Would you say it’s worth paying out for that as we don’t know whether to do it if it’s still available in September.

It just really depends. I say it’s probably worth it to get on as many rides as possible. You can get into the park as early as 7 pm with the ticket so you get over five hours of park time. You could conceivably do things like muppets and star tours or catch the 8 pm fantasmic before the event even officially starts. It’s a no-brainer if you wanna save a day off of park tickets.

Thanks for the info. Coming from the UK we already have the 14 day park ticket so not sure if we will pay out for extra. Loving all your fabulous photos.
