I wonder if the park rangers on the Kilimanjaro Safaris will be getting their guns back. I remember them having guns at the end of the ride when they would say "Little Red is O.K.". Hopefully they will!!

Michael Eisner thought they still existed when he visited two Adventureland Cast Members a couple of months back (asking these two costumed CMs who they were outside of the bridge ). . .

. . . so to make our CEO pal not look so out-of-the-loop, they're bringing the guns back.

I'm a huge animal lover and I still have no problem with the guns. I think it's a cool, classic part of the ride. Apparently some people had trouble differentiating imagination and real life. I sure hope they return!!

I'm glad there is a possibility that they will come back. I think it adds a touch of "excitement and adventure."

If they do come back, I wouldn't be surprised if the skippers will be required to say something similar to, "I'll try to scare them off with some warning shots."

Ya know, I was trying to place what was missing when I went on the Jungle Cruise since there was about a close to 15 year gap where I hadn't been on it at all. That was what it was. Glad to see it coming back.

I'm always that smart-a$$ guest that when the CM starts talking about how dangerous ask, "well if they are so dangerous, shouldn't you have a gun or something?" I get dirty looks or snappy comebacks. Glad to see that things are going back as they should.

So if the guns are coming back to Jungle Cruise, does that mean the Pirates are going to chase the women again instead of the women chasing off the Pirates?

It is about time to bring them back. That was the part of the ride that everyone remembered. If they can sell guns in the parks, there is no reason that the skippers can't have them too.

From what I understand, this is cascading from DL, where the Queen (well, ex Queen) of PC, Cynthia Harriss, Presslers protege started all this nonsense. The Gloria Aldred of Disney left plenty of undoing to be done, but we gotta start somewhere. As the destruction started from DL, it appears the return to sanity and corrective actions are beginning there....hippo's beware!

Yeah I read about that on Mice Age awhile back. Definitely good news. I went on Jungle Cruise yesterday and our skipper was hilarious! He even let me "drive" the boat! Now THAT was an experience!

It would be awsome for the CM to aim at the passengers on the boat.
