Living with the Land updates

BTW, if you use the restrooms next to the Garden Grill restaurant, Listen to the Land is still a part of that soundtrack. You may have to be in there from 20 minutes or so but it is there.

On the same note, a portion of Magic Journeys is played as part of the soundtrack in the restrooms on the side of the Imagination building.

Oh terrific, to experience classic Epcot Center as it was meant to be experienced, we have to hang out in the restrooms.

Of course, there is something really ironic about that...

Thank you! :)

(It's a screenshot of my SSE model)

Wow, simply amazing. I wish I could do stuff like that, even at a crude level.
It's really very well done.

Thank you! It does take a lot of practice (and time).
When i started with 3D modeling about a decade ago i always tried to "do my own rides"
but quickly reached my limits.
Over the years it constantly became easier to handle more compicated models
without being scared of not being able to finish them or doing something wrong.
It's really hard to get your head around it in the beginning.
Though, once you get the hang of it, it becomes more rewarding with each model.

Very nice. :) What program do you use? Are the modeling and rendering software the same?

Sorry for the double-post, i saw the question only after i posted the other reply

I use 3Ds max 2011 with Mental Ray as the render engine.
I would usually prefer VRay on this, but with MR i have greater flexibility towards compatibility and/or possible future upgrades on my modeling software.
However, i haven't applied any materials or textures,
so i could still switch to a different renderer, theoretically.
The modeling itself is simple poly (quad) modeling,
whether Maya, Blender, C4D or other programs,
you would get similar results at this point.
I think MR will look great once i apply material shaders and such.

Edit:
On topic:
I actually can't wait to start working on the Land pavilion model, though i feel the same with Maelstrom, JII(original), my Horizons V2 project and so on and so forth ....

:jawdrop: ...i think i will be quite busy with all this.
