Here is the wall that covers where the ride used to be:

I love the living seas! i never miss it when I go to Epcot. Of course I'm a marine biology minor so maybe i'm biased. When i used to work there (and probably when i go back this summer!) I used to go there on my days off and sit in the windows and think or read or relax or whatever. I love looking at all the fish, it's so relaxing. For people who are not entertained by fish though I could see where they would need something about future exploration or a simulator or something of that nature.

I haven't gone to The Living Seas the last few times I've been to Epcot. I do miss the omni-mover but really wish there was a counter service place to eat. A fresh fish sandwich would be good (as long as it didn't come with french fries.)

Too many people just hurry through when they realize that there is not a ride. I think that is the same problem that AK has. I've heard people on the Pangani Exploration Trail and the Maharajah Jungle Trek say "Oh, there is nothing down this way, just animals." :brick:

You are right. The windows at LS are a great place to just sit and relax. I would probably spend days off there or at AK too. Are you going back as a CP.

Every visit to epcot, I at least spend 30min watching the fish, sharks, and turtles swim, as a native floridian i already watch some of these in my back yard lake, lol. I love looking and seaing the huge turtles swim, the sharks move. It is relaxing, and helps me spend time in air condtion on a hot summer day, wating for my reservation or fast pass to be ready. I hope they do not remove it, They really do need to reopen the ride in it though, it was also relaxing.

I like the Living Seas a lot. The "giant tank" is amazing, as well as the Dolphins and the Manatees. It´s a very educational pavillion and a great place to relax while watching the fish.

One of the times I was there, we asked a CM if we could go backstage to the top of the tank, and she escorted us to see it. It was great!! One of the dolphins was being "grounded" for not doing his show right, so the trainer asked us to not look at him while we passed next to him. We tried, but the dolphin stood on his tail and followed us around the pool trying to get our attention! It was soooo cool and cute! Too bad we were not allowed to take pics... :animwink:

Got to love any attraction that gives credit to Paterson , New Jersey, bithplace of the Holland Submarine, seen in a photo by the entrance line. This attraction is great! Very educational and informative. They need to bring back Mickey diving by the Coral Reef, what a sight that used to be, and also the breakfast pizza, I have never had better since.

Does anyone know if there are any plans to put anything like the living seas in AK? Because i cant think of anything about the seas in AK.
