Live Trip Report: Shookie at WDW

Okay so I thought I would follow up the PTR with a LTR - a Live Trip Report - What I'm going to TRY to do is just give you some what interesting updates from the parks and our day.

So something from day one -- We landed today at 9 am and were in unpacked in our rooms and at the parks by 11:30am.

so let's start with this:

Well, then tell them they need to fix the dang ride so it stops breaking down and they wouldn't have to bring them backstage!!!

In all seriousness they were pretty good sports. My son and I were actually happy to get a look 'backstage'
we weren't supposed to be taken pictures...but I accidentally snapped a few..Here's some pieces parts:

Wait! What day was this???? We saw everyone getting evacuated off the ride!!! I can't believe you were on there!

Alright so I'm back at the room....I took a look through the last of the backstage pics nothing really exciting. I was trying to get a shot of parade vehicles that were set up in a garage area...all I got was this picture of everyone getting lectured by the CM to not take pictures ....the garage is behind these kids...

Sorry the pics aren't more interesting.

I can tell you this... although I was upset about not getting to finish one of my favorite rides...It was pretty exciting walking through one of my favorite rides. We walked right through the laughing place to get out. I found out something about by daughter.

She loves the rides at WDW but she apparently has some phobia about the animatronics and water...LOL..She admitted that as long as she is in the ride and watching everything is ok...but she has this fear of rides breaking down and having to get out!! So apparently this was a nightmare LOL...
She handled herself rather well.

Unfortunately with our current schedule - the next two days at Universal - we won't be using it.
It will make a cool souvenir though!

It's rained for at least an hour everyday since we've been here - We're totally not used to it as we usually come in May and we usually have clear skys 24/7. But as I've said to the fam already I'd rather be here in the rain then sunny in CT.

Alright guys -- I'm TRYING to keep SOME of our day to day details out of the LTR as I'm trying to save something for the TR.. .....but I will tell you this:
I'm getting ready to head out for dinner to Ohana.
You can be a little jealous if you want.

i agree. i would rather be in disney then cold and windy chicago ( where i live when not in school), or overly warm memphis ( where i live while im in college)
