The music sounds great! I had been afraid that Zimmer would abandon the music from the first film completely. Yeah, rumor has it that he was actually responsible for a lot of Klaus Badelt's credited score, so it's not totally surprising that the main themes are still in place.

Woo-hoo! Can't wait for July!

BTW, I was at DL last week, and had hoped that the ride would be soft-opened for lucky guests. Alas, it was not. Considering my trips to DL are few and far between (see my sig), I may not get see the revamped ride for several years! :-(

It is indeed live. They'd shown a lot of things, including "Johnny meets Jack", and the Davy Jones effect.

Its pretty cool....I am loving the Disney Imagineers and their comments. The girl on the red carpet is really annoying and she keeps repeating the same things over and over and doesnt always seem to know what she is talking about. But they are showing some great footage of the ride, Johnny Depp, and them setting up for the movie premiere. Some of the stars are getting on my nerves, so far Brenda Song and Kierea Knightley seem like they want to be their the most. They also had the two sidekick pirates who were in the first movie. I can't remember there names. But I am loving it so far!!


PS: Christina Applegate voice of a small world doll at Epcot Center??/ Did anyone else catch that?

I met Jason Surrell (one of the commentators in front of Sleeping Beauty castle) this past Dec inside the Narnia attraction @ MGM. He was one of the show writers for Narnia.

The live feed is really cool. Kiera was gorgeous but that girl Taylor on the red carpet is very annoying. Am I the only one who can't stop staring at the horrible fake tan on her face?
Also the video of Johnny playing with his animatronic was too cute. I hope someone was able to capture that.

Yeah, that got a good laugh out of me. The reporter looked so uncomfortable during his entire interview.
Yeah, Orlando just came in. I was expecting more. Where did Johnny go? Wasn't he like right behind the reporter like two minutes ago?

Edit: LOL, they are all so confused. You can tell the girl reporting was only expecting to report for an hour and its been two since Johnny and Orlando took forever.

What?! LC from Laguna got an invite and I didn't? I feel so cheated.

I just got back from Disneyland. The place was a zoo, but it was kind of fun. I saw a lot more celebs this time compared to when they had the Premiere at Disneyland for the first movie back in '03. I can't wait to go on the ride tomorrow! Soft openings beginning at 11:00am! :sohappy:
