Trump is in town. (No commentary, just an observation.)

He leaves Wednesday, so maybe we'll be able to get into the Trump Tower on Thursday or Friday.

First of all, HAPPY BIRTHDAY, JENNIFER!!!!! You're having so much fun, that I can't top that with a picture of a birthday cake--but I hope you do have some cake at a nice restaurant today!!

I didn't realize that it was as recent as 1976, that GC was designated as a national landmark. Thank you for that plaque--you know how much I like my plaques!

Just a couple more pics from the beautiful Grand Central Terminal. This work of art would never get built today. There are no more Vanderbilts and Carnegies.

It is a time warp, to walk through there. Really puts your mind into another dimension. As much as I'm not a fan of (some) of the super wealthy, some certainly were responsible for beautiful things for people of all economic backgrounds to enjoy.

... and the UN Building

Love the UN. Been on the tour at least 4 times down through the years. The complex is very impressive--an 18-acre site on 1st, that stretches from 42nd to 48th.
