I'd rather have Anna Sophia Robb, but unfortunately she may have aged out of it.

Age is only a number now in Hollywood, so as long as she can maintain her youthful look (so it doesn't require de-aging) then she can still do it.

However I think both Florence and Sabrina are a better fits myself, and Sabrina even got the nod from the voice of Rapunzel herself, Mandy Moore.

All 3 sound great! And would definitely look the part.

But they'll probably go with another P.O.C. like Amandla Stenberg.

I'd be perfectly happy with new fan favorite Meg Donnelly, since Anna Sophia Robb has aged out. She is only 24 and fits the character almost perfectly.

Not bad, but I think it's hard to not think of Agatha when you look at her now. Especially if she's got magical powers.

She’s almost certainly a better singer than Hahn, but - and pardon the heresy - she is not a big enough “name” for the film. They’d likely go with a more known box office quantity (to be fair - Hahn has had modest success in this area).

It depends on who they cast as Rapunzel. If they go with a bigger name - Sabrina Carpenter?* - they may have more latitude to go with a more talented though lesser known box office quantity.

*Her box office appeal is unclear.

Menzel could arguable be a more bankable star than Hanh, not to say that Hanh isn't but she hasn't been in a lot of huge movies. Both have done mostly mid-level movies, but Menzel has the edge with Frozen plus the better singing voice (even though Hahn also has a great singing voice but isn't known for it unlike Menzel).

So Menzel would be a A choice in my book and would probably be my casting choice, but if Hanh wants it I say give it to her.
