Do you think this is new? They’ve all had publicists since forever for a reason. We do have a good idea of her vocabulary and phrasing by now... enough that it doesn't seem plausible for her to have composed it.
Nah. For what? She should have control-alt-deleted her social media accounts long ago.
Most of them never would have heard about this, but for certain media outlets, elevating and instigating.Do you think that the Hollywood of old was populated by angels?
Actors aren’t role models to be put on a pedestal. They’re just doing a job—albeit a highly specialised and lucrative one. They can only occupy as much of your attention as you’re willing to give them. Some people here would benefit from simply ignoring Zegler.
Oh good lord is that starting again? If only you held your elected officials to the same impeccable standard.
You guys have your priorities all wrong. You are unable to get over the social-media posts of a young actress—posts she apologised for—yet think nothing of voting for a man who falsely and repeatedly accuses immigrants of eating pets (which actually is hate speech by some legal definitions).
I really do despair.
and no interwebs. They had better handlers.
I’m sure it was coerced and at least co-written by someone else, and there’s nothing new under the sun for decades.I'm sure through self-reflection, she had a legitimate change of heart and issued her apology sincerely and completely on her own volition. Certainly, neither Disney's PR department nor her publicist influenced her in any shape or form. Just like she whole-heartedly changed her opinion on the original Snow White film in that completely unscripted, candid and spontaneous discussion she had with Halle Bailey. Disney certainly wasn't in damage control mode with that absolutely authentic, not-at-all pre-vetted conversation.
If only you held your elected officials to the same impeccable standard.
Just popping back in here to point out that none of the people you're responding to said anything about who they voted for... ok bye!yet think nothing of voting for a man who falsely and repeatedly accuses immigrants of eating pets (which actually is hate speech by some legal definitions)

It might not matter at all. It might matter a whole bunch. What's been said, at least from me, is it's not out of the realm of possibility that it could have an impact. And that insulting over half the country, might not be a smart move.I really don't think any of this matters very much at all.
I think I've been pretty clear in stating as much. And that insulting over half the country, might not be a smart move.
It's a shame because I do think Zegler is a terrific actress and singer and can perfectly embody the role of Snow White. She was great in West Side story. But from a PR perspective, I just think she's too much of a loose cannon for a movie designed to earn a billion dollars.Disney has a new problem on its hands with this movie, all over again. The one thread of continuity in the past several years of problems for this one movie seems to be.... Rachel Zegler. I can't imagine Disney will seek out a future project with her once Snow White is finally, mercifully, put into the history books and sent to the $5 DVD bin at WalMart.
Rachel is not employed by the Disney company. She already shot the movie! Her work is done. You can't fire someone who isn't employed. Carano was part of an ongoing movie series, so it made sense for Disney to state that she wouldn't be coming back.I’m they do why is Rachel still employed?
Okay, that's legitimately hilarious.Rachel Zegler strikes again

She’s on Broadway now, correct? It's a shame because I do think Zegler is a terrific actress and singer and can perfectly embody the role of Snow White. She was great in West Side story. But from a PR perspective, I just think she's too much of a loose cannon for a movie designed to earn a billion dollars.
I do think there is a path forward for Zegler if she pivots to smaller budget films that are less focused on earning millions, and more toward garnering Oscar nominations. Or, she could maybe find a TV show that's more directly aimed at the type of Gen Z audience that likes what she has to say on social media. If Zegler wants to be true to herself and speak her mind, that's her choice. But she'll have to reexamine the types of roles and career she wants to have.
Can you explain this to me. I don’t follow Stars or really know how Twitter works.Okay, that's legitimately hilarious.
Wonder if we will see Zegler and Gadot throwing shade at each other on the press tour.
Maybe but you are kinda vague. And some users lack any self-awareness! At least I'm honest about what I'm doing.
I’m not sure what you mean by that . . .I assume he was joking, but thank you!
Its people trying to read something into the pictures that are not there. Can you explain this to me. I don’t follow Stars or really know how Twitter works.
All I see is a picture of some women standing next to each other at what appears to me to be a movie premier ?
