EDIT: The only dark ride I could rank higher is The Haunted Mansion.

What's with "little mermaid is a "C" ticket??? The heck is wrong with you people??? It's definitely at least "D" ticket quality! Because obviously "E" ticket rides are only for thrills... You want "C" ticket quality? That would be Winnie the Pooh, Maelstrom and Buzz Lightyear. Good lord the Little Mermaid ride is the best dang dark ride in the entire resort actually! (I don't want to hear from those Great Movie Ride fans. You know it's outdated, dusty and old. That's probably a C ticket itself now.) Heck, your classic Peter Pan's Flight is probably considered a "B" ticket now.

Little Mermaid is the best quality dark ride that exists anywhere in WDW. I'm sorry if it does not exceed what you were expecting.. But.. It's still a great ride, whether you want to believe it or not.

Yea yea opinions are opinions. But just because it doesn't match up to a preview video doesn't mean it's not a very high quality ride still. You guys just don't make sense to me. "Ermigerd! Toy Story Mania!! E TICKET!! WOOO!!!!!!......Oh.. that dumb little ariel dark ride? Yea, they didn't make it the way they were advertising it to be. So it's like a C ticket.. pshh."

Now I'm not saying everyone is like this.. But. There's a lot. :p

Even then, I would say this is more due to the lack of dark rides at Walt Disney World. They may not be as lavish, but the other Fantasyland dark rides seem to have more heart.

....Nah.. I wouldn't say Pooh Bear has as much "heart" as they put into this ride. The AAs are very impressive. And I'm sure there's enough dark ride-style attractions in WDW

Pooh Bear
Peter Pan
Buzz Lightyear
Journey Into Imagination with Figment
The Great Movie Ride
Nemo
3 cabelleros
Spaceship Earth
Toy Story Mania
Pirates of the Caribbean

Now I can understand where people are going with the "warehouse" thing. But that's honestly just the lighting. If it was toned down to barely any lighting at all, it would definitely look like a very high quality classic dark ride. Just saying. Didn't they tone down the lights in Cali's version?

Advanced figures aren't heart.

The excitement for the new lighting in California did not seem to last long after the ride reopened.

I hated the ride. Being an almost 40-something year old, it's just not for me. That being said, the theming for the ride is excellent in the queue and the ride itself. The songs are timeless. My daughter loved it. I thought it was a little short. However the theming puts it up there as a D or possibly e ticket ride.

I think Pooh is better than Little Mermaid. It's not a basic omnimover; you actually bounce around float on the water. It's cool for that reason alone. And Pirates, HM, and IASW are all better than LM (Peter Pan is overrated IMO). I think LM definitely deserves a C ticket.

Again, technology does not make heart and that is one of the attraction's big failing. All of the Orlando parks would be better with more, smaller dark rides that have still be given thoughtful consideration.
I agree. I think NFL could have included at least two more dark rides. They could probably add a Beauty and the Beast and Dumbo dark ride. There's certainly enough room.

Don't forget, the categorizing standards changed a lot over the last decades. Once in DL they considered the Tiki Room, the Monorail AND the Disneyland Railroad to be E-Tickets while today it seems to me that many spoiled people don't consider anything a real E-ticket which is not in the range of at least the Western River Expedition.
Although TLM is not a true E-Ticket it is a true D-Ticket if there are any at all.

I disagree. Advanced technology is a lot more impressive than what is used for AAs in rides such as Peter Pan and Pooh. I'm pretty sure if Pirates and the Haunted Mansion had still figures with no mouth or body movements, they would both be very boring and cheesy. Well.. Maybe HM could get away with a few. But otherwise, the two main scenes would lose their most impressive portions.

It is another regurgetated carnival ride.

Disney's regurgitated** carnival rides are found in Dinoland USA and any place where you can find a spinning dumbo-replica.

I for one don't ever recall seeing any form of dark ride that would live up to even a Mr. Toad's Wild Ride quality. So.. Over exaggeration much?
