When the news broke here on WDWMAGIC someone said it was "Darth Vader and a Storm Trooper."

smh

That was me.:p I guess I don't know my Star Wars too well.

Edit: An update to this event: "Please note that the following attractions will be closed between 8:30 p.m.–10:30 p.m. on Saturday May 4th due to the fact that they are situated in the fireworks fallout zone: The Great Movie Ride, The Legend of Captain Jack Sparrow, Toy Story Mania, and Walt Disney: One Man’s Dream. All these attractions will then reopen again and operate until park closing".

If you want to see some great SW satire, check out Lego "The Empire Strikes Out" on Cartoon Network (I believe you can see it via OnDemand this month). Hilarious!!!

"I've got sand up my NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOse!!!!!

"I am awesome...I am awesome..." Who knew Darth Maul could sing? The Padawan Menace with "Ian" is also "awesome, awesome, awesome! What's up Wheezy?"

It would be a great addition.

Unfortunately, I'm afraid (with the new direction at LucasFilm), the Hoopla might get the axe sooner rather than later and the fireworks show would seem to be the likely replacement.

This will not happen. Fireworks cost so much! The hoopla is very cheap comparatively.

It most certainly will if the Hoopla goes away.

The cost of fireworks is nothing when you consider it'd be keeping 5,000-10,000 people in the park an extra 5 hours (until the end of day festivities). They may cut it down a bit, but fireworks would be the most logical replacement.

"What's up Wheeezy!?" Cracks me up every time. My son and I sing that "awesome..." part all the time (that's from The Empire Strikes Out too, btw). Hilarious stuff.

There are 3 more coming this year. Can't wait!

My DD and I do that too. No matter where.

DD-Awesome, awesome.

Any one have an idea to when the fireworks will be that night? Park close is 12. So I assume either then or at 11. I want to see if I can make it there after work.

wdwent.com is calling it "Symphony in the Stars" - A Star Wars Fireworks Spectacular at 9:45pm. Does this mean this will be an actual Soundtrack, not a Rock and Roll one provided by Mulch, Sweat & Shears?
Where would one stand after the 9PM F!?

I am assuming that it will be similar or identical the other Star Wars fireworks of the same name that were done during the special event "The Lastt Tour to Endor.".

I don't know if I'm reading the LTM site correctly, but is it true adults will be able to do JTA on the 4th? If so, I wonder what the show times will be
