Great move doing a Star Wars firework show - this needs to be a part of Star Wars Weekends!

It would be a great addition.

Unfortunately, I'm afraid (with the new direction at LucasFilm), the Hoopla might get the axe sooner rather than later and the fireworks show would seem to be the likely replacement.

Did you see the jokers trying to kickstart a Shadows of the Empire movie?

I know Disney doesnt seem to do a thing to protect their IP based on the unregulated behavior of anyone with a blog, but I can see them tightening up the rope Lucas has given the fan base to play in his sandbox.

It is going to be hard to take away the Hoopla now, it has to be one of the most popular parts of the weekend. Will be interesting to see what happens. Information on this year's Star Wars Weekend is very light at the moment.

I hope you're right. The Hoopla is easily our favorite thing at SWW.

Whether it's the Hoopla or things like the Lego Cartoon Network specials, I hope they've shown that satire in the Star Wars Universe isn't a bad thing. IMO, they've been a huge benefit to Star Wars and not a detriment. Hopefully, Kathleen Kennedy has a sense of humor and sees it that way as well.

Corporations are much too protective of their characters sometimes.

If only they would bring some satire to the Disney universe! I saw the Stitch trailer and had great hope. :D Then I saw the movie.

Is there any schedule out on when the events and fireworks will happen that day. I wonder if the fireworks will affect the showing of Fantasmic!

If you want to see some great SW satire, check out Lego "The Empire Strikes Out" on Cartoon Network (I believe you can see it via OnDemand this month). Hilarious!!!
