Why is everyone losing their minds online about how good this looks? This trailer is just reminding everyone that the original movie is good. It just made me want to watch the original. I'm not wasting my money to see this rehashed garbage. The only one of these remakes I saw in theaters was Aladdin, and I regret that.

The original Lilo & Stitch is good enough for me. This is literally the exact same thing. They could have rereleased the original in theaters and it would do well.

This is going to send the complete wrong message about the live-action remakes when it makes $1 billion. Soon you'll see a live-action Leroy & Stitch.

This looks like it may have done the animated film justice. Retell the story, keep true to the original... but just enough here and there to make it more 'realistic' like it fits in the live action world.

I'm just hoping this means they bring back the Luau street party thing to DCA they had in 2002 with mandatory hula-hooping.

I was shepherding young nephews through DCA then, and the Lilo & Stitch Luau N' Hula-Hoop Explosion was a mandatory stop. Plus, both the nephews and I were fascinated and yet grossed out by her big fake feet in flip flops.

I'd be shocked if this doesn't do a billion plus. It looks just to be rehashing the original with very little change like lion king. I doubt it holds up to the original, but that's expected as none of them have for me.

Maybe the MK will get a Lilo & Stitch ride where Stitch burps chili dog breath at us.
I hadn’t even thought of that, I bet they’re regretting that they gutted Stitches Great Escape, it wasn’t a good ride but if/when this movie does great at the box office I bet they’ll wish they had the ability to simply turn the ride back on to capitalize on the renewed popularity.

The attraction was so bad that it actually hurt perception of the park as a whole. It wasn’t good for the brand. Doesn’t justify the space being left to rot.

Those dislike counts are merely estimates based on the selections of those that have installed the browser extension. It's quite easily influenced by a relatively small number of people and should not be considered an accurate approximation of the dislike count.
That's quit an estimate then.

You don’t need a browser extension to do Likes and Dislikes on YouTube. It’s a button right under the video.

The browser extension just shows the dislikes that YouTube hides on default. YouTube still counts the dislikes. It shows the dislikes for all videos not just Snow White trailers. It's a flag in the javascript, you can see it if you debug the page.

After watching the preview... looks enjoyable enough. For some reason, I always had the impression that the characters lived on one of the less-populated islands, but it looks like this film is placing them definitively on Oahu. Given Disney's penchant for cross-promotion, what are the chances that Nani and David work at Aulani in this version?

I'm surprised they didn't get Ving Rhames to reprise his role. Unless they're going for a more slap-sticky version of the character, he still has the perfect look for Cobra Bubbles.
