Disney has heard of a little program called "google earth"??? I can see more now than ever what backstage looks like... silly
To be fair, Little Red isn't really an animatronic, its a simple motorized mechanism that moves back and forth. It isn't like this is going to require much - if any - effort to maintain.I can't believe they are paying to run an animatronic in a backstage area for employees. How stupid is management? They continue to cut and neglect things that the paying guests see but are spending money now on an animatronic that only an employee is going to see![]()
Don't worry about not remembering... it sums it up perfectly that the second zebra experiment failed so now we lost the finale for an unremarkable animal. While the response of "dirt" was technically correct, that's where the new zebra habitat was added. (Though the zebra have since moved out and are being replaced with another animal, though which one escapes me at the moment)

Agree. Same personality trait as the student who raises his hand late Friday afternoon to remind the teacher that he forgot to assign any homework for the weekend !Thank you Cmdr Obvious
I hope management does enforce it. There's too many people out there, most tend to be younger, that think there is no consequence to what they do on "social media." I just can't fathom how people put their jobs at risk just to be a big shot posting things online they shouldn't be posting.I've seen an uptick in CMs posting backstage pics cavalierly on social media lately, I know this is the policy; however, no one seems to be enforcing it...
I've heard about that! I've never seen it. Are there any pictures?Am I the only one who still wants to see the Big Red body that the trucks originally encountered in Kilimanjaro Safari? Anyways, I agree, Little Red should move to Jungle Cruise. :3
There are plenty of older people who abuse social media, and taking pictures to show fans that a little piece of treasured attraction history still lives on is not one of those situations that truly requires punishment, especially if it is meant to be seen by workers on a daily basis.I hope management does enforce it. Unfortunately no one has any images because it was only there for cast previews :< Hopefully one day something will surface up.I've heard about that! I've never seen it. Are there any pictures?
I never liked having the "finale" of this live-animal attraction be an animatronic. The storyline was always forced and detracted from the attraction. Just my opinion.I'm still really sad that he's not in the ride anymore.
Little Red was my favorite part of the ride. It just isn't the same without him.![]()
Just out of curiosity, what is that thing on the walkway between the building and the parking lot? It looks like a space like ride vehicle though I can't think of an attraction that it belongs too. This is where Lil Red lives now.

If the rules of the company say no to such actions, then the CMs should respect that. Otherwise, they should expect to be punished. There are plenty of older people who abuse social media, and taking pictures to show fans that a little piece of treasured attraction history still lives on is not one of those situations that truly requires punishment, especially if it is meant to be seen by workers on a daily basis.
She became a Blue Plate Special at Flame Tree.As morbid as it sounds, I too would like to see the original Big Red prop. Whatever became of it?
I saw a recent video that showed a small herd of addax. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AddaxWhile the response of "dirt" was technically correct, that's where the new zebra habitat was added. It's a bike rack filled with bikes. The backstage area is quite spread out so Disney provide bikes for the cast to get around.Just out of curiosity, what is that thing on the walkway between the building and the parking lot? Exactly, if the cast are told the rules and the consequences should they be broken they need to comply if they value their job, whether they agree with the rule or not. Many cast just don't value their jobs with the company. Just for the record the wording on these types of policies usually says that something along the lines of "up to and including termination". So it wouldn't necessarily be an immediate termination situation. If the rules of the company say no to such actions, then the CMs should respect that. Otherwise, they should expect to be punished.
