Listen i agree this is not the best course of business you should know by now im the last one to defend this company & feel this is not how you capture the next generation. But it seems like we been saying this for how long now?!? I truly believe this company is chalking up the 18 months after Epic opens & is looking to get sloppy seconds to pay top dollar which they mostly likely will bc lets face it Uni is still max 3 days. So people imo will run to the mouse watch a new parade & pay for anything they can to cram everything in a short time. It may work. It may not work.
Unfortunately from reports out there it's not looking good at all. Universal isn't selling tickets for Epic as much as they hoped and Disney has the lowest Hotel rates since COVID. Neither company is in a good situation right now.

With a brand new theme park opening, Orlando should be booming this summer.

It takes a long time for travel patterns to fundamentally shift

In turn…it takes along time for them to blow a hole in the boat that had been highly successful for 50 years.

Disney had a lot of rope to hang itself with…it’s tightening.

Most that talk about whales just want to feel good about themselves/special

They’re not.

I know technically not the correct thread but was wondering hoe the drops have been working with the nee rides of VQ and in general. My last trip a couple weeks ago honestly was not good at all where prior ones they were spot on accurate and had success literally each and every time

It’s always been kinda luck

Reports of “guaranteed” are highly exaggerated if you to say it’s across the board

Nothing was ever guaranteed, but there were trends. I personally haven't checked since October, but someone of these drops were like 95+% of the time... while others like SDD and RAT were like 40% https://forums.wdwmagic.com/threads/lightning-lane-drop-times.984387/
I’ll take your word for it…

I wouldn’t go at all if I felt compelled to stalk the drops

I suffered through a couple years of genie and refreshing for “rise of the resistance” 🙄

…I did my part for Bob

…was that Freud? Twain? Oppenheimer? All three?
The actual origin is from Dr. John Bridges’ Defence of the Government of the Church of England, 1587:

If they pay a penie or two pence more for the reddinesse of them… let them looke to that, a foole and his money is soone parted.

(You know it's British because of all the extra vowels. 😂 I kid, I kid, I love all my British friends, including the site owner ... who I've never met. :) )

Rooms are available…wait times are not bad…restaurants are fully available…flights are cheap

…this might be the posted child for consumer wasteful spending/vanity

That’s 2 pm on Friday when a substantial part of the country is off for the week.

Not great…but considering how they’ve wrecked investment it should be mathematically much worse

And 2 hours ago it looked much better…when I usually leave the park and hit the saloon 🤠
