No, it’s knowing what to do. 100% success rate over 50+ times is not luck.
Impressive, very impressive.

Please educate me. How do you do it?

Or is that a secret you would rather keep to yourself because if it got out it wouldn’t work as it’s dependent on the majority doing in wrong?

Lightning Lane Premier Pass at EPCOT on December 29 and at Animal Kingdom on December 29 and 30 are now showing as sold out.

All parks are now currently sold out for tomorrow, December 29.

Here are the park locations and dates currently unavailable to purchase:

Magic Kingdom: December 28-31, January 1-4
Hollywood Studios: December 28-31, January 1-3
Animal Kingdom: December 28, 29, 30
EPCOT: December 29, 31
You have to hand it to Bob, Josh and Hugh.

LLPP was created by changing some code someplace. For all we know the code already existed and all they needed to do was to flip a feature flag in the code to enable it.

There is no ingredients costs, no labor costs, no inventory costs, no storage costs, it’s practically pure profit.

A product that is pure profit, that sells out, its supply and demand can be controlled by a few keystrokes, a product that didn’t even exist a few weeks ago.

Now THAT is magical.

Practice it. Know what screens come up and where the “next” button is. Have your group set up, check they all have tickets etc. Be ready at 6:55

I know what to do, and have gotten the VQ many times, dating back to when Galaxy's Edge was new! But I've also been shut out a few times. Most of the times I've been shut out it was because MDE froze up. The freezes tend happen during WDW's busier weeks of the year.

I've usually then been able to get a VQ during the 2nd drop, but the return time isn't always convenient.

One trick that helps is to have a time app on your phone instead of relying on your phone's clock to be accurate. One option is to use the NIST time clock (part of the Federal government!), another is to use an atomic clock app. Generally, you want/need to request the VQ at precisely the right time.

Wdw is a different animal than dlp

Their “line management” has been an evolving failure for 15+ years

I literally start tapping refresh like my life depends on it once the clock turns 6:59 am. It isn’t hard and it isn’t fancy, but it works every time.

I despise Virtual Queues, I cannot for the life of me understand why people are giving Disney a free pass on keeping them for so long, especially on Guardians. I want the choice to ride things when I want to, period. I sincerely hope that charade is over when Test Track reopens. It’s so refreshing to be at DLR this year where the only virtual queue I need to worry about is WOC (which rarely closes on double show nights.)

I’m happy to see Premier Pass taking off at WDW and hope it kills Multi Pass. LLMP just doesn’t work at WDW. You don’t get enough meaningful LL, because too many people pay up for too few rides.

DLR is much different, between a combination of locals being too cheap, the park being open longer, and there being more rides worthy it’s a much better value proposition. I can usually swing 6-8 bites of the apple. When I start at DL, 3 of those bites are Guardians, Soarin and TSMM aka 3 of the 4 great rides at DCA who have long waits (and RSR has a SRL) when I’m starting at DCA Space, Matterhorn, and BTMRR will be 3 of those for sure. No tiers, no pre booking, stuff doesn’t start to sell out until noon-1 and rides reappear all the time.

At WDW it is just not worth the hassle, especially when in every park but MK I can do every ride I enjoy with a long wait (assuming no breakdowns and the margin at DHS is razor thin) in the first 2 hours with early entry and rope drop.
