Lightning Lane Premier Pass

So I have a week long trip coming up. Figured I would check out express lane. I select the park I want to go to and 3 rides. Then it gives me times of like 6pm and later for the rides. Why would you buy this product just to get 3 rides so late in the day? This seems even worse than genie.

What type of tickets do you have?

(If you have APs and don’t have park reservations booked, it will give you times after 2pm).

Or you’ve got unlucky with the ride times.

I think some of yall way overdramatize premier pass, an option Universal has had for years and one many on here openly questioned Disney for not offering. We can complain about guest impact, but on busy holiday weeks when it sells out, lines were going to be long and busy anyway. Very few will blame PP for their wait; they’ll blame a packed park, just like it always is this time of year.
Apples and oranges. Uni is included with their deluxe resorts, its led expensive, it isn't priced dynamically and it it less restrictive

Other buyers have already exhausted the earlier times.

If you do purchase, you can click on it and try to choose an earlier time, but there may not be earlier slots available.

I just have regular park entry. I was trying to make reservations at 7am eastern time on an 8 day trip.

The earliest I was able to modify a ride too was 1pm.

Completely useless product.

I don't think it's meant to appeal to people who go a lot. It's meant for people making what might be their only trip. Yes, one can't monopolize as much as with stacking with Genie+ but that's by design.

For anyone staying onsite for 8 days, I would recommend using LLs later in the trip as you will have more availability to choose from. The first few days will always have limited options.

The product isn't completely useless (to Disney). It encourages people to stay onsite. Additionally, it works better if you stay for a longer trip and helps to encourage longer bookings.

However, I do wonder how there seemed to be similar Fastpass availability when everyone could get 3 Fastpasses vs now when purchases are limited.

I feel like it encourages people to find a better place to take a trip. A family of 4 can easily spend 1k just on line skipping. Then you have the people who are buying it and getting only 3 rides and throwing a fit on social. How much bad word of mouth does Disney want ?
