That’s good to hear. What about the holidays prior to April 2024 when lots of annual passes were set to lapse. Did you notice any difference around then?

The summer Holidays in 2023 were considerably empty. I don’t think AP attendance made that much of a difference, everyone was seemingly making plans other than Disney.

As of last night, there was availability at every on-property, non-DVC Disney resort for 12/22-12/28. Every. Single. One.

Yea I noticed that too. Lots of availability. It’s interesting too since during the holidays you would expect the hotels to be more filled since there are more non-locals going to the park due to black out dates.

Yea when I was there I noticed that too. Whenever pirate pass was blacked out it was very empty

There is a known-shift post pandemic that many parents have no qualms about pulling kids out of school for a week.

That started pre-pandemic but post pandemic it was taken to a whole new level. I guess it's understandable when the message for a year was that your kid doesn't need to be in school.

My kids are presently in school. Low-performing students perform at a particularly low level (pandemic deficits?) and high-performing students just sit around on their laptop with headphones on.

I would not hesitate to pull my kids out if not for the fact that my wife and I teach. We can’t just leave for a week. But if our Spring Breaks ever don’t align, we will just pull the kids out when my wife is off.
