Lightning Lane Premier Pass

Isn’t that due to changes in DAS usage and the LL to standby ratio?
It helps but if the parks were packed like in 2019, the waits would be much higher regardless of those changes.

I get it, everybody likes lower crowds and most here don't care about the business side of it. You can't keep raising prices to compensate for lower attendance. They have priced a lot of families out now and it's going to get worse if they keep with this model.

IMO they need a price freeze for a few years and let the parks get crowded again. Back to 2 hour waits and LL at 30 minutes

You won't find too many people loving this idea! I think you may be an outlier when it comes to standing in long lines.

I don't like standing in long lines either but I also accept that's part of going to a theme park. It's also why they have skip the line systems in place. If you want shorter waits you will have to pay for it
That's what I've been saying all along. The people who accept standing in long lines as part of going to a theme park take some of the burden off the LLs.

I think we will never again see the MOBS of 2019.

Disney used the pandemic as an excuse to hit the reset button and do all the things they wanted; park pass reservations, total restructuring of annual passes, cutting perks, cutting offerings, cutting park hours, LLs, PPLLs, cutting staff, while at the same time raising prices on everything.

If I the guest experience still feels bad today, it’s because the theme parks are now broken because of much of what is listed above.

I don’t know what park is consistently rocking 40-75 minute waits? But I know there isn’t one in lake buena vista
I appreciate your views and back and forth and the engagement. But this reply is based one i never made when you use the word “consistently”. Listen we all know that rope drop and end of park will not yield 60-90 minutes waits but what i will say is from a solid 10-8pm from when people were in parks lines were constant and nothing were walk ons….

But you’re wrong

That’s not the daily thing

You can go ahead and look on the little wait time park maps…it’s not there…and remember: those are designed to ENCOURAGE more line skip sales

Frankly…your assessments of crowd levels are from a time portal…it’s 5-10 years outdated

You can tell me im wrong all you want. I will trust friends ive known for life who were there. You posted a screenshot from today which has zero to do with what i said about Thanksgiving. Zero. But to comment. I just refreshed the app to see wait times. Are they obscene like years past definitely not but again. They are not walk ons when Ariel has a 35 minute wait. Which is usually literally a walk on it says something again. Wait times are definitely down from years past not when you look they are not minimal.

I just showed you the wait times from DECEMBER 25th and 12:45 pm

Late risers today? Seaworld jumping?

That’s the inflated waits…usually about 10-25% give or take

The talk of stagnant long lines applies to 2018 with that gawd awful fastpass+ with 15-20% higher annual attendance

What’s not computing? Is it cause they shutouts Florida residents? Maybe…but does that matter? The day in the park is what they want to be…it is what it is.

Trust your friends…they haven’t done the “work” to track the crowds patterns for decades. All are not created equal.

But the Moderna might have altered by Brain 🧟‍♂️

The 10-20 minute waits are “walk ons” in the modern ride reservation era of app tracking…”walk on” isnt a thing

You just countered your own point “…as in years past”

Exactly…the crowds are shrinking. Which makes upsells a somewhat iffy choice.

If you’re saying two days at thanksgiving are more crowded? Sure…that’s bad for business on two levels:

1. Way way less of potential to make money than the holidays or the summers…robbing Peter to screw Paul.
2. It’s likely a shift from October and December…which they made madhouse on before the collapse…less money again

How’s that “appreciation” thing working for you?

And i literally looked at wait times at 120pm…. But again. Im still not sure what todays waits times have ANYTHING to do with what i mentioned in my original comment. It has zero. But again i do agree todays wait times do show that the mouse is far from unbreakable but we are in agreement there but again how long has people been saying the mouse is doomed? Eventually they will be correct? Christmas day wait times today for sure are eye opening but when i looked earlier they were far from walk ons and lines were shorter than years past but its not like you have the run of the park to do what you want …

At this point we are talking past each other. From my view today is dead. A 35 minute wait for any attraction is low.

Low is Not a walk on… and thats all im saying and again. This original debate was about Thanksgiving week and somehow the goal posts moved to Christmas day 🤷‍♂️. Again. Todays waits lines have ZERO i repeat Zero to do with what my statement was
