Lightning Lane Premier Pass

Im not buying that bc if there was then those lines would be long as well…. Capacity. Always will be the reason not enough rides hours and entertainment
I thought lines were finally starting to even out between standby and LLs. A lot of people say wait times aren’t that bad now.

Premier passes is another example of trying to create a specific crowd (the rich and privileged), forcing people/families to spend beyond their budget to “keep up with the Jones’” or risk losing the full park experience.
DL and DW were created for family. Not profit margin growth. It is sad but a reality.
Our children will never learn patience if we keep giving in to the need for instantaneous satisfaction.

A part of it is due to lower attendance.

As for LL usage. I know nobody likes to wait in long lines. No park has enough capacity to give everyone short waits. It's why I'm firmly for eliminating Multi pass and keeping only Premier pass. Also allowing those with Premier pass to ride attractions as many times as they want.

By doing that while standby will be longer, it also will consistently move. The other benefit is those who buy Premier pass will get their moneys worth.

Failure to keep up with capacity for 25 years of normal travel volume increase is the issue…and they fully know

…or believe what they tell you for their interests

A rather binary choice

Are the people in the LLs now waiting in long lines though? If not, why would Disney have incentive to remove the multi-pass option.

Why would it matter if the standby waits are shorter due to lower attendance instead of park operations figuring out how to keep both lines moving?

That sounds a lot like numbers science…which is what fastpass was based on and lightning lane and fastpass+ threw out the door

I wouldn't go that far, it still hasn't been a full year since they did a "numbers science" thing on a category of park users which stopped the overflowing FP+ lanes and made the standby lanes move again. This is from personal observation this year before this change in April for a week then afterwards in August, September, October, November, and December this year for a week to 14 days each trip. I believe that @lentesta 's "number science" things show similar trends but based on more data collection than my observations. I'll keep it as generic as that as to not stir the ant nest.

We have repeated the same story countless times. Add capacity. People will still pay. Win win for everyone and more people will come more people will spend.

Ive “reported” recently from people i know who were just there ones who have been before and another who hasnt. They both said lines were long and far from walk ons and non existent. All during Thanksgiving week Tuesday prior to the following Wednesday. These are people who were in parks majority of day who are experienced. So people can post whatever pics they want and post whatever average wait times they want. I will go with personal friends and family who literally just came back and spent every day in the parks.

Thanksgiving has always been one of the busiest times though. At least as long as I can remember.
