Lightning Lane Premier Pass

I do, although it isn't currently viewable. The main takeaway that I see is that the price point doesn't really seem to matter very much. It seems to be selling regardless of price.

Interesting. I wonder if crossing out the days it sells out with both crowd level and price point if that offers any insight.

This was probably asked but what does "sold out" mean?
Did they sell 10, 100, 1000, what?
Everyone keeps saying that. Noone knows the answer but what we do know this was not ā€œselling outā€ & now it is as people are becoming more aware & im sorry there is NO way Disney is lying about this for FOMO. As i stated. The week i was there. This was sold out & LL were worst ive seen in yearsā€¦. All i heard was DAS users like myself were the problem. Turns out we werent. Disney just wanted to monetize the LL further. Had ZERO to do with ā€œcrackingā€ down.

I thought about this and have posted this. Because of the general brokenness of the LL system, the more LLMP, LLSP that are sold, the more there will be a desire to purchase LLPP to avoid the terrible return times of LLMP and LLSP and standby.

This whole LL system albeit totally broken is a HUGE money maker for Disney with no end in sight.

The more broken the LL system becomes, the more money Disney can make!

Im going in June with my daughter. Will have DAS and i hate to admit this there is a good chance i may purchase this for the 2 of usā€¦ 4 days will cost me less than 2k and dont have to deal with any aggravation etc for a quick trip there. To me its starting to become a no brainer

IF LLMP, LLSP, DAS was not broken and worked smoothly, you would use it.

"broken" depends on your perspective, I understand it's not working for you. Is it working for Disney Corp.? Is it working for Club 33 members? What is LL for? What are the parks for?

Everything may be "working" just fine. I personally don't like LL at all compared to standby only, I just can't see it as a failure.

I definitely think there is value to rides that are standby only (or at least largely) and a continuously moving line (even if long) isn't so bad

but I know a lot of people that flat our refuse to use a standby line and willing to pay for alternatives - very hard to get everything working smoothly when different guests have different expectations, goals, preferences, budget, etc

Totally agree! Totally broken to the guest is a HUGE WIN and a MONEY MAKER for Disney!

It's broken in a sense due to lack of capacity. I still believe it would work much better if the cheaper option was eliminated. Less guests using LL the better.

You blew up the DAS thread with the ā€œunapologetic double dippingā€ tact beforeā€¦

Maybe youā€¦donā€™tā€¦maybeā€¦want to go down that path again?

Stay in the weeds on this one

I know your thoughts on this & you know mine on thisā€¦ i believe altho i still dont agree totally with you i admitted there definitely are someā€œadvantagesā€. Disney had a chance yet again to prevent this. They didnt probably bc its ā€œillegalā€ & mostly bc they are not passing up on moneyā€¦

Ill cut back on a character meal a day maybe to soften the blow
Food and merch is absolutely feeling the effect of Disney's "golden boy" Lighting Lane.

Folks like to think of Disney as one big company but there are many different departments. The food and merch teams are hating LL because it is taking revenue from them.

This may lead to a further cuts in offerings in food and merch because the is less money to me made so there will be less investments in those areas.

I saw this first hand. During a recent visit to EPCOT, the selection of EPCOT hats was terrible! Maybe I am mis remembering but I seem to remember there used to be A WALL of hats to choose from in Mouse Gear.
