I'm convinced a large percentage of daily guests are low-margin AP holders. Prove me wrong šŸ˜„
At Disney World I would guess, depending on the day, itā€™s 20-30% APs, but most of them donā€™t show up until 5pm, and Epcot and DHS have a larger component.

DLR on its worst days, are exactly the opposite, 70-80% AP.

The vast majority of these are due to loading and unloading of people who need extra time to load/unload, and thus this is not really a solvable ā€œmaintenanceā€ problem.

Not a maintenance problem but a different ride system could help with this if you take the ride vehicles off the track for to load/unload and then back into the track for the ride

Think like a high speed ski lift or how it is done with Journey into Imagination or even like Kali River

Maybe doing something complex isn't worth the small downtime but something could be done

Itā€™s unrealistic to expect them to do that retrospectively though.

There is absolutely no way of you knowing this altho i wouldnt die on this hill. Either way i will say this the start/stops were unusually high. For an example. Peoplemover. Went on multiple ride stopped literally 4-5 times each time. HM stopped 6 times that i almost asked to re ride it bc it was a terrible 1st experience for them. I have plenty more if you would like to hear them.

Haunted Mansion stops to let people board. Iā€™m surprised you didnā€™t see that happen at least once as you were waiting after the Stretching Room.
Spaceship Earth is the same, as is Nemo, IASW and others.

I know someone who just got back from a WDW trip with just one ticket per park. They bought LLPP for MK and even though it was crazy expensive it made their day so stress free that it made their experience that much better.

Part of it was not having to play with booking LLMP all day. Part of it was not having a schedule return time. Part of it was not having another MK day on their trip. Part of it was knowing they could get everything they wanted done without hassle, stress and fear of missing out.

Just one data point.

No doubt folks will purchase LLPP to unburden themselves from the totally broken and pain in the @ss broken front of the line systems at Disney.

The ironic thing ( that is good for Disney) is that the more folks who purchase LLMP and LLSP, the more folks need to purchase LLPP to avoid the long waits for LLMP, LLSP and standby.

I'm inclined to believe those who purchase LLPP are doing so for their once-in-a-lifetime trip and don't plan on returning.

Thus wanting to make the most out of it.

One thing I noticed on our last WDW trip, and even asked about here on the DAS thread, was how few wheel chairs and scooters we saw. We didnā€™t have a single wheel chair or scooter board our bus our entire trip, which I found ironic since they just ordered new busses that are more wheel chair and scooter friendly.

We noticed higher than average stoppages also, if itā€™s for boarding disabled guests that would be opposite what we saw at the bus stops and what we experienced in the paths. I recall asking specifically if the DAS changes has dramatically reduced the attendance of disabled guests because it was very noticeable from previous trips.

I will 100% agree with you regarding that. 1st trip i didnt get run over or rammed by either lol. It was definitely noticeable as well the lack of them in each park but conversely the LL lines as j said in a prior post were the longest ive seen in a long time as well consistently.

Definitely some people - easier to justify spending extra to ensure you get on everything you want/have the best trip possible vs if you know you will be back (relatively soon) and can hit up things then

We just booked a trip for Paris and will stop at Disneyland Paris and initially was thinking just two park days and then was considering buying their equivalent of LLPP since this very well could be the only time we get there (decided to stay in a Disney hotel instead of and as a package came with more park days so likely won't get it now)

I agree, I also think that likely applies to MP and infrequent visitors as well.

We tried Genie+ once when it first released at DL and felt completely ripped off, we never bothered with LL of any type at DL again because we are there so often, when we went to WDW last year we bought MP and found it worth every penny, that was our first WDW trip in 2 years though so itā€™s much easier to justify. We likely wonā€™t be back to WDW for another year (or 2) so we plan on buying MP again when we do return.

Value is very much tied to frequency.
