No
Because there are people like me who feel like RotR is the greatest adventure ever at any amusement park. I'd gladly pay $18 to not to have to stand in line for close to 3 hours like I did when I was there last year.
Hopefully everything was working & they didnt skip both pre shows....

You should write their commercials 😉
“You knew, and came anyway!”
I have fundamental problems with people who wine and complain about getting what they paid for. In anything not just Disney. You know there is no FP. There hasn’t been FP for YEARS prior to the posters trip. The time for LL bookings has been sent and advertised long before their trip. If those items are deal brakers for you, and you elect not to book a trip I might not agree with your reasoning but I get your logic. But the op here seems to be complaining she didn’t get something that she knew she wasn’t getting/.

You don’t like not being able to reserve ride times…. That’s fine, but you knew that before you went. You don’t want to wake up for the LL, that’s fine, people vacation differently. But don’t complain when other people do wake up on time and book them so they aren’t left for you.

I think it's more people complaining about paying more and getting an inferior experience as compared to previous years - even if you know about it.

I have problems with having to "wake up on time" to use the crappy paid system that Disney has adopted. Doesn't mean I can't still go, have as much fun as possible, but be upset that the experience is not once what it was. I do agree that complaining shouldn't be raised to an art form, but when so many people on so many boards are expressing so many negative feelings about the current state of WDW, it's got to mean something.

I do tend to "wine" quite a bit while at Disney, though. It helps. ;)

100%, unequivocally Yes.......

Because prior to this stupid system , I didn't have to wake up at 6:45am and worry about that because a perk of staying in a Disney hotel was I got advanced booking with FP+ at 60 days out........

No chance in hell would i ever go and stay at a Disney hotel.........Why would anyone? no benefit, just stay offsite and book Genie+ like all the other schleps guests
I mostly agree, but even in the days of FP+ it was possible to oversleep or otherwise miss out on a FP.

These days, we've taken to skipping Rise and 7DMT.

I see it as time=$.

Prices for today (10/20/22), Return times as of 9:05am
G+ $18
7D $10 (return time of 4:20pm)
Guardians: $14 (return time of 7:05pm)
RotR: $18 (sold out for the day)
FOP: $13 (sold out for the day)

Other attractions sold out for the day on G+:
Peter Pan, RAT, and SDD
We have to also remember; this is on top of the price of a park ticket.

Conversely, losing 2 hours of park time to a queue is also a cost.

This is why, even with the fees, to me, driving a car to the parks is usually a better option that waiting on a bus. And even then, not all WDW time is worth the same amount of $. Peripheral park hour time (if doable) is worth more than mid-day time.

It's whine.........

I would never pay for a Disney hotel knowing i am not getting any perks, especially no free FP+

My last trip i booked was when there was no Genie+ announced and then it started a month before we went......So i never willingly booked with Genie+ and I never will again

Other people can pay the overpriced rates for average hotels with no perks......all the power to them but it wont be me.....

I have fundamental problems with apologists who refuse to admit the truth because they are brainwashed into being treated like crap more and more all the time but continue to accept it and pretend that theres nothing wrong

When ILL first came out last year I thought RotR was the bargain At less than $1 per minute. 7DMT is like what- $4 a minute?

Except buying an ILL isn't paying to ride an attraction; it's paying to skip a line. So in June, we paid $10 to skip the 1+ hour standby line for 7DMT -- so about 17 cents a minute to skip the line. And RotR was $15 to skip a 2+ hour standby line so that was about 12 cents per minute of saved time. RotR was down for several hours the day we were there and they actually ended up closing the standby line for an hour because they had about 3 hours worth of ILLs to get through so the ILL probably cost us less than 10 cents a minute.

Lol so again you admit you booked a trip knowing there was no fast pass. That’s exactly what you did. And now like a child who is upset with what they bought, your crying and complaining about it. You booked knowing full well what you were paying for. Going by what you just said, Disney actually ADDED things after you booked, not take them away. The perks that were available when you booked were known, and you booked them anyway.

There are plenty of offering that Disney had that I don’t think are worth the money to me…and in those cases I don’t buy them. I don’t pay for them and and then wine about it.

I recommend go to Universal.
There are no PPRs AND the three deluxe resorts give you free express passes!!
