Just wait till peak season!!!!$22 on a Monday in the middle of October?
Who the heck is paying insane these prices for such a crappy product? blows my mindJust wait till peak season!!!!
I fear one day, we are going to end up with a three-digit Genie+ cost like Universal express pass, but WITHOUT the convivence that of express pass.
Only 2 things I see different today than yesterday is MK and HS reservations are unavailable across the board today. HS had resort availability yesterday. And no party tonight at MK.$22 on a Monday in the middle of October?
So one thing that dynamic pricing allows TDO to do is “price testing”.$22 on a Monday in the middle of October?
Im still baffled how Rise is the highest priced one out there...Today (Tuesday)
Genie+ $18
RotR $18
7DMT $10
Avatar $13
Cosmic $14
It will probably "coincidentally" end up being $22 almost every day at some point which will be equivalent to a standard $22 per day.$22 on a Monday in the middle of October?

They are trying to figure out how much they can increase the price by in various times of the year before G+ uptake drops below where they want it.
In a sense, this allows them to “fail fast” — if they price G+ too high for a given day, the impact of that decision is limited to 1 day, and they can learn from that mistake when making future pricing decisions.
They’ve done similar things with ILL pricing in the past.
Team Disney OrlandoWhats TDO?
Absolutely! This! With apologies to Dr. Seuss...
I will not buy it in my house.
I will not buy it at the Mouse.
I will not buy it here or there.
I will not buy it anywhere!
Not at 15 and not at 22.
Not if it comes with a shiny glass shoe!
I'll not pay more to guarantee
what my ticket promised me.
You've charged me all that I can stand.
I will not buy this, Chapek-man!
I reject your Genie+
that seeks to make such fools of us.
I'll come when crowds are low instead,
and curse your greedy, weird, bald head --
or else, I'll make a full reversal,
and go have fun at Universal.
The thing that boggles my mind the most is that this is a gamble.
Gamble that on the day you picked for the park the g+ won't be an absurd price
Then after paying that, gamble that the rides you wanted are available, then further gamble that the slots still open are good for your plans
If paying 20usd at least guaranteed I'd get the rides I want without needing to wake up at 7am and button mash while praying... I could maybe see some use for it. As it is, it's like gambling
I couldn't agree more.........This is insane..........Imagine paying all that money to stay in a Deluxe resort and not knowing if you can even get on the rides you wantThe thing that boggles my mind the most is that this is a gamble.

I have plenty of complaints about current Disney and more specifically G+ but I am not sure I get this one. There is nothing stopping anyone from getting in line for any ride in all four parks so how would one not be able to ride? Unless you are talking about the VQ rides which I would understand more but unless I am mistaken, there is currently only one of those.I couldn't agree more.........This is insane..........Imagine paying all that money to stay in a Deluxe resort and not knowing if you can even get on the rides you want
"Gamble", "Slots". Sounds about right. The thing that boggles my mind the most is that this is a gamble.

I really miss the "too much planning" Disney vacation. The thing that boggles my mind the most is that this is a gamble.

Disney does own ESPN and considering sports gambling is now legal in many states they are looking to expand what people can gamble on lol"Gamble", "Slots". Sounds about right.
as the saying goes... watch what you wish for....I really miss the "too much planning" Disney vacation.
