Lightning Lane at Walt Disney World

I have plenty of complaints about current Disney and more specifically G+ but I am not sure I get this one. There is nothing stopping anyone from getting in line for any ride in all four parks so how would one not be able to ride? Unless you are talking about the VQ rides which I would understand more but unless I am mistaken, there is currently only one of those.
Sorry, let me clarify

Without waiting hours and only getting on a few rides

Paying all that money is not worth that

People are doing it. So 🤷‍♂️
I know......Seems crazy to me but what do I know

Imagine dropping $1,000 a night on a deluxe hotel during easter week with your 8, 9 and 12 year old and you accidently slept in on ur HS day and missed the 7am drop and you couldn't get SDD or ROTR unless you waited 2 hours in each line?

HA........no thanks.........at least before you could book a FP 60 days in advance and guarantee yourself 3 rides

Just poking around the app for the heck of it. 2:45 on a Tuesday in October at DHS - Meet Olaf, Runaway Railway, RnRC, Slinky, Rise and ToT all out of LL 😳

Edit to add as of 3:05, Smugglers is gone too.

I couldn't. That's for sure.

TWDC continues to bamboozle the public with extra planning fees to address the capacity shortages. Genius. I'll say it again. Genius.

Im still baffled how Rise is the highest priced one out there...

I think that has to do with capacity and reliability - if/when it goes down then have to first make up the time of all those with ILLs which makes the standby that much longer - not to mention if it goes down later in the day they may not let people in the standby even if it reopens, so if getting on in a priority there is added "value" to having an ILL for it vs higher capacity/more reliable rides

The ride is over rated and you are lucky if its working properly when you ride it… are you saying they charge more bc the ride is constantly down? Or am i misinterpreting you.

Well, that and even when it works well it has relatively low capacity so each spot on it is of greater demand than a similar ride with higher capacity .... Basically way fewer people get to ride it in a given day than the other ILL rides

It's also pretty unique and just about anyone can ride it (vs like Cosmic Rewind) so demand is high, lines are long this higher ILL cost

Wait so YOU decide to book a trip at a generally busy location, during a holiday/school vacation week. AND you don’t get up when the system opens to get reservations and somehow this is Disney’s fault or “crazy” that as a result of all your acts/decisions you are going to have to wait in line for the 2 most (or at least 2 of the most) popular lines in the park???

100%, unequivocally Yes.......

Because prior to this stupid system , I didn't have to wake up at 6:45am and worry about that because a perk of staying in a Disney hotel was I got advanced booking with FP+ at 60 days out........

No chance in hell would i ever go and stay at a Disney hotel.........Why would anyone? no benefit, just stay offsite and book Genie+ like all the other schleps guests

9 days of data with the new dynamic pricing on G+. The G+ line is hiding behind the ROTR line.
Also the blue line is price for a 1 day base ticket, but divided by 10 so it fits on the graph better. Interesting to see the ILL and G+ prices are not following the daily ticket price.
Guardian's is always $14 or $15. FOP is always $1 lower, 7D is always $4 cheaper. ROTR and G+ seem a little more volatile

Ummm but you did. You did book a stay at a Disney hotel. You booked it full well knowing there was no fast pass, and hasn’t been any fast passes for 2yr years plus.
