I never noticed RotR to be a walk on. Sometimes the wait time is less, but never under half an hour.
Under half an hour is pretty much a walk on for that ride. At that point, you're just cycling through the queue.

Ok I thought they said they would NOT run out of Genie+
They said the service wouldn't sell out, not the individual passes.Ok I thought they said they would NOT run out of Genie+
The tip board is a complete waste of time........Touring Plans has been doing the same thing for 15+ years and it's not biased and has better real time data...........Right. Sold out. It doesn't mean that standby still won't be available. The great thing is that the tip board shows you what you need to know even if you haven't purchased Genie+.
If you book the 1pm at 10am, you'll be able to book another one at Noon.Question if you book a LL let’s say the first opening that pops up is 1pm can you book another one earlier that day. Trying to figure out how the 2hr window thing works.
? really? People dont know what that means?Ok I thought they said they would NOT run out of Genie+
Not in real time throughout the day. Pricing can change from day-to-day, but not within a day.I thought Disney was going to do surging pricing with IAS so that it don't get sold out too early.
If you selected it before park opening, and the park opens at 8, you would be able to get one at 10. If the park opened at 9 then it would be 11. If you selected it at 9:45, after park opening, then you could get another at 11:45.Question if you book a LL let’s say the first opening that pops up is 1pm can you book another one earlier that day. Yes, it's 10:30. Two to three hours from now is the afternoon. You want to know why the evening ones aren't gone? Because everyone who can grab LLs has to wait until their current one is expired by either waiting until their scheduled time for the current LL is now, or, for two hours.Return times for the popular rides are already in the afternoon.....
Yeah, we've heard your complaints about how the new system doesn't fit your method of hitting the parks. And we heard it over and over and over and over and over again. Sorry for your loss.If you dont wake up at 7am this will 100% not be worth it
If you dont rope drop this also likely not going to be worth it
It's like old paper FP, the good rides will sell out early and that takes away the value
Ah ok so it’s based on the time you book it not the time that is technically booked for the attraction. Thanks for the clarificationIf you book the 1pm at 10am, you'll be able to book another one at Noon.
If you book the first one before park opens, the two hour clock starts at normal (non-EMHH) park open.
I thought Disney was going to do surging pricing with IAS so that it don't get sold out too early. If not, then I guess one must get up at 7am to buy it.
Could you book both at once?Another follow up post:
Again not true. I paid for two ILL this morning and once you choose the ride it gives you open times all day. I could have booked all the way to 9pm
Erika
And that's an upper limit, not a lower limit. If you ride Splash LL at 9:05 and there's a Thunder LL available for 9:15, you can go ahead and book it as soon as you click into the Splash queue.Ah ok so it’s based on the time you book it not the time that is technically booked for the attraction. Thanks for the clarification
That used to be true. Will it still be true with IAS people added?Under half an hour is pretty much a walk on for that ride. At that point, you're just cycling through the queue.
