Or simple kiosks somewhere else... No point in putting them all over property. They can be put in shops, or limited spots like FP+ customer service was.

Heck, just put a few CSR out with portable scanners and that's all they need. They'll be the new 'best kept secret' kiosks all over property ;) ;)
I wouldn't be surprised if they have people stationed at the queues themselves for the IAS lines...

Question for anyone who would know - we are already paid up for October trip. If they start Genie + say a week or less before we get there, do we just have to purchase it daily at that point if we want it? Wouldn't it be too late to add it to ticket package?

I think I read you can purchase it for the day at midnight?

I think will be easier to just add it to tickets ahead of time, no risk of dealing with Disney IT glitches trying to purchase it before 7 am!

I had the same question. I suppose they could find some way to let you add it to the tickets so it would be available to you whether or not you used it every day. Or maybe they'll pass up on that opportunity and see how many people just buy it after midnight each day. I've never had trouble giving Disney money, but I guess there's a first time for everything.

This whole trip...I feel like I'm a WDW first-timer. 😂

New hotel, new rides, virtual queues, Genie +.... gah! It's fun problems to have though.

I was saying exactly the same thing to my daughter yesterday. Our upcoming October vacation (just hubby and me) is going to be interesting but May 2022 is going to be absolutely crazy; we went from planning a vacation in 2020 for 6 adults and a 1-year-old grandson to 6 adults, a 3-year-old, a 9-month-old granddaughter and a (yet to be born) 3-month-old grandson. I'll be booking character meals for the first time ever - we couldn't afford them when our kids were little.

WDW requires a great deal of flexibility and a positive attitude. And money. Lots of money. But I'll be shocked if we don't have a great time!

If they give resort guests the option to order it in advance, to be fair they would have to allow them to order it before the trip even up untol a few days. If it's part of your resort package, in the future it might be required 30 days in advance but nothing formally announced. But who knows if they scew over the ones who have trips planned real soon and they have a different mindset.

Every time I read about this, I feel like the Christina Aguilera Genie (in a bottle).

I'm seeing photos of LL signs that have been added to FoP, Na'vi, and Frozen. Are there any currently open, previously FP+ attractions that still need LL signs?

What about the Character meets that had FP..the Adventurer Outpost (Mickey and Minnie) in AK, the Mickey on town square, etc. I think there was one at Epcot also for Mickey, Minnie and Goofy but that meet and greet got moved to different spots...also the Cinderella Fairytale Hall at MK etc. There were 5 or 6 character meets that used FP...are they converting to LL or just stand by only? Also curious about some of the shows in the 4 parks.

They're not open at all, so I don't think we know.
