Among other details, including the fact that Donald jumps into "Beauty and the Beast," "The Little Mermaid," "Fantasia," "Peter Pan," and other films in his upcoming show, Mickey's PhilharMAGIC, we now know that the show will be approx. 8-10 minutes, according to the following article from today's Orlando Sentinel:

The paper also had a scene with Donald Duck flying in the clouds. I will post this as soon as I have the means. :)

Enjoy!

Is it just me... or does 8-10min sound kinda short ?

I dunno...I guess I will just have to see it...and decide from there :)

My thoughts exactly. I think it'll be a little "rushed" for Donald to visit all those movies in only 10 minutes, WHILE telling a story. :zipit:

It sounds pretty short to me, considering they are going to include so many different scenes. The other 3D shows are about the same length, though. I would think, as big as they make the screen sound, that it would have a pretty high capacity, so that they could make the show longer. Does anyone know how the size of the theater compares to the other 3D shows, capacity-wise?

Okay, we know Donald is going through:

1. The Little Mermaid
2. Aladdin
3. The Lion King
4. Peter Pan
5. Fantasia
6. Beauty and the Beast

That may not be all...but, anyway, it looks like that photo of Donald in the clouds could be part of Fantasia if they dealt with the flying whale number. Just a thought. :)

Maybe the preshow will be the introduction about how donald barges in while we are with Mickey and then we are invited in to the movies of Disney and adventures (the show) and we will get straight into the 3D action....

Makes any sence??? :p

I bet it will be with the Peter Pan sequence (pixie dust?)...and I bet they will use sequences from the original Fantasia...probably the Sorceror's Apprentice piece since they're using the hat! But thats my guess..I have no idea. :)

Is 8-10 minutes all that short? I'm thinking of the other 3D shows and I think they're about that long...oh, and is there defenetly going to be a pre-show?

Yeah, it really does seem sort of short. "It's Tough to Be a Bug" seems to be pretty short, though, too. How long is that one?

I don't know the seating capacity at Mickey's PhilharMagic but It's Tough to be a Bug seats 430 and is about 8 minutes long. Muppet*Vision 3-D is about 12 minutes long, not sure on the size of the theater.
