Planning ahead here... I spent over a month trying to get a ressie at Le Cellier and finally managed it. This is one of the meals on our upcoming trip in December that I'm looking forward to the most!!

While enjoying the food of the day photos- I've been enticed by many of the dessert options that LC has to offer.

So I'm wondering- if you could only chose one dessert at Le Cellier (or two...hehe after all, hubby gets one too!)- which would you chose?

I'm most interested in:
Maple Créme Brulee
Canadian Chocolate Moose
Chocolate on Chocolate Whiskey Cake

*I have to admit I've never had creme brulee before so I'm not sure if I'd like it. But it sounds good!!

PHOTOS welcomed & appreciated! :D

The Whiskey Cake is GREAT...

The Moose...is just simply too good not to get. We ate Le Cellier 4 times this past trip. I got the moose every time.

While I am one of the rare people who is not a huge fan of this restaurant, the Creme Brulee was one of the best (if not the best) that I have ever tried.

To me, they are all about equal. All pretty much pedistrian. Not bad, but nothing stellar.

Creme Brulee is like the filet of desserts. It appears in one form or another on just about avery menu. The maple aspect if it is different, but other than that I did not find it all that special.

The Moose and the cake subscribe the school of "If we stick enough chocolate in it, then people will like it". Again, they were good, but not great. Nothing that really blew my mind. Quite honestly, if going on a cash basis, I would skip dessert.

We actually are on DDP- so the plan is for me and DH to each get a dessert and share so we can each try 2! But I'm stuck between the 3 so I'm trying to narrow it down :animwink: There are far worse dilemmas to be in, I'm sure...

I got the chocolate "moose" just for the novelty of it, and it was just average. If you are a fan of chocolate mousse, you might be disappointed. Next time I will definitely try the chocolate whiskey cake.

How in the world did u get 4 ressies there? I still can't get ONE:brick:

180+days of stay out, (please note i think it's harder during peak/holiday times) take whatever time is available and never stop trying to get in. last year there was nothing open on my 180 days out time but after about 3 weeks i got in, of course it was at 9pm or 930pm (not a problem for us) and this year i think it's 830. i'm wondering how the place going to 2 table credits on the dining plan next year will affect getting an adr. i hope it makes it easier...keeping my mickey ears crossed.
