Le Cellier impossible to get in?

Ok. I've been to Disney World 15 times over the last 20 years. Our very favorite restuarant is Le Cellier Steakhouse in Epcot and every time we go there it just makes the magic for me for the enitre trip. Our next trip is Dec 5th and I have tried to get a reservation there for ANYTIME during our stay and I think that takes the vacation freedom out of it by having to reserve 180 days away but I am still willing to do that but when there is NOTHING left for a week it has gotten out of control. What backflips and magic tricks does one have to do just to eat at a favorite place anymore?!?!?!

if at first you don't succeed...try, try again. It is really all you can do when trying to get one of the most popular ADR's on property.

Just keep trying. Over the last couple of months I have been able to score ADR's there at a week out or less.

It seems as though Le Cellier has recently become much more popular than before and ADR's are much more difficult for it.

If you book your restaurants 180-170 days out you will get whatever day/time you want...After that you gotta take what you can get or just keep trying...

Probably just call them and keep calling them at least once a week if you really want to get it. There are usually at least a few cancelations between now and your trip, so you should get something. I believe we've twice had luck with Le Cellier really close to when our trip was, but I can't tell you for sure.

Just try every week or so and from time to time check the online reservations. We were able to get the Princess breakfast in Norway the night before for 4 of us one year and it was in July. People are always changing and cancelling. Good Luck.

We were lucky & managed to snag a reservation for Dec 3, by going online at 6 am on the 180th day out. Had to settle for an earlier time that we would've liked though. I've checked every day when booking our other reservations and there's been nothing else available. I would bookmark the online reservation site and get into the habit of checking every time you're online, you never know what may pop up in the next 180 days. Good luck!

If all else fails try walk up at lunch times. Chat for a bit and then mention you are NOT on the DDP (even if you are). It has worked for us every time but once and that was NOT during free dining.
Oh and for those of you who want to flame me for saying one is not on the DDP even if they are. Consider this, is it any more dishonest than Disney saying there is no availability for one who says they are on the DDP and then seating the next party that say they are not. I have seen that happen more than a couple of times.

If you ever see this happen get the name of the cast member who tells you this and the manager on duty at the time and give the information to guest services. I am sure that Disney will not be very happy to find out that restaurants are turning away guests who have already paid for the DDP to seat a cash paying guest especially considering that DDP guest will more than likely end up giving the CM at guest service an earful because he/she can not use their TS credits.

I tried booking online the first day allowed for all days of my trip at 6 a.m. There was only one day available and it was for 4:10 which was a little early but better than nothing. I took it and every day I'm online seeing if there's been a cancellation and if I can get a later time. So far no luck but at least I have an ADR. I agree with you that it's next to impossible. Keep trying!!
