Le Cell already full

I think people are really discovering what a great meal Le Cellier is. As well, for the less adventurous in WS, its a basic meat and potatoes meal. We've had a hard time getting an ADR there the last two trips. Lunch is easier, and just as good.

In regard to your Karma as a PO....who cares! You chose to be a PO, a selfless city employee. It certainly isn't a license to be selfish! There are plenty of other folks visting Disney with noble professions.

I just don't get how someone can be so thick :brick: (no pun intended). Did you truly every stop to think that you might be taking something special away from someone else (or has "the job" hardened you that much).

Its the most rewarding profession a human being can do with their life in my opinion.
I won't go there JT, PO's in my house are put on pedestal. If your job is so rewarding, you should have such a want to do the right thing. In this instance my view is that you are wrong and selfish. Unlike like the behavior of any Police Officer I associate myself with.

MY poing with "who cares" is what does you being a PO have anything to do with anything!

Agreed! My husband is a police officer. You guys/girls certainly don't get enough praise for the job you do!

I meant no disrespect to Police Officers. MY DH2B is also a PO and I too work in the law enforcement field. My point is, I guess I expect more from him because he is one.

Maybe, one day you will understand.:animwink:

As for my karma, my job as a police officer balances that out.

That is the most ridiculous statement I have ever read. You are the worst example of someone I can imagine, who thinks it's funny and brags about trying to ruin other people's Disney vacations...and you think you are something special and it's okay because of what you do for a living?

I'm sorry, but I don't want ANY cops in my town who feel that way. That is a sick sense of entitlement you have.

Honestly, I think you take yourself way to seriously. Smile once in a while, and book early, some people live for making ADR's, and taking out your anger on me does nothing but make you lose another ADR to someone else, possibly me:king:

Wow man, you are a real sicko. You are sitting here taking pleasure in trying to ruin other people's vacation...because you are a cop? Oh, wait, it's because your party is so big. Or is it because you've done it before and you think taking advantage of the system to the detrement of others is okay.

It's hard to keep track of your excuses for being so wretched. Funny, every time you come back they get even worse.

And you take pleasure in it, which is the worst part...you think it's funny.

There isn't much else to say. You take the cake for the most arrogant, sad, disgusting person I have ever seen on these boards. Congratulations - that's quite a feat.

There is nothing worse than someone who thinks that because they are hired for a job that somehow that entitles them to anything else in life. If you really were a good, proud cop, you would NEVER use that as an excuse for anything - you should be ashamed that you attempted to use your profession as an excuse for your taking advantage of the system.

I understand very well.:animwink:

Yes, you do.

Your husband sounds like an HONORABLE man.

Can't say the same for others who use their profession as an excuse to stop other families from enjoying WDW too. See some people find being a cop a RESPONSIBILITY, not something that gives them carte blanche over life.

It's sad there are so many bad cops out there that give the good ones a bad name. :(

Clarification. You booked Le Cellier for 60 people?

He can come back and verify, but that's his newest excuse for this time that he came up with on his fifth reply. For having six reservations in three days for the same restaurant.

His initial reasoning was, however :

Hey, I make 2 reservations all the time, sometimes at 2 different restaurants, its my vacation and I paid for it, and when Disney says I cannot do this, the I won't, until then, its fair game.

So I don't know if Jimmy is laying it on Thick about these six reservations (those that large may be grand gatherings and by golly maybe they really are letting him do it, but then his initial post bragging about all his reservations when this poor person can't get one becomes irrelevant grandstanding), but his admission that it's his modus operandi to do this because "it's (his) vacation and (he) paid for it" is what draws the ire.

As I said initially, it's people with this attitude that will make us all pay when we have to secure every single reservation with a credit card. Having two reservations at once, and admittedly doing it "all the time, even at two different restaurants", is what is going to hurt the HONEST, HONORABLE people who make ressies IN GOOD FAITH. It's so nice of Disney to give us the leeway they do, but the LCD always has to take advantage of it and ruin it for everyone. :(

An update in the works for Dining Reservation System, planned after the summer Property Management System roll-out, will make it much easier to tie multiple reservations to a single person (to avoid having multiple reservations for a trip under different names and phone numbers). The bonus of this is that it should make it much easier for the cast member booking to see multiple/conflicting reservations in the same meal period and suggest appropriate action/clarification.

So please don't think this is an accepted practice, a replacement to the limited DRS system has been in the works for a while. This is certainly a problem exasperated by the Magic Your Way plus Dining packages. To be sure it is certainly not always intentional by the guest. It's easy to get dates mixed up when booking 6 months out. It could even be a guest booking an replacement restaurant and the cast member forgetting to go back and cancel the original once the replacement was taken care of. DRS doesn't make it easy to do and I have seen that a lot.

Also note that Le Cellier Steakhouse does not load all tables in DRS.
