Latest look at the Beauty and the Beast area construction in the new Fantasyland

It looks to be a bit on the larger scale so it might be an element that is closer to the viewer to enhance the forced perspective of the much smaller scale elements slightly further away. I would agree that it is probably just a corner of a perimeter wall.

If you look at the close up of the beast's castle here

It shows a turret off to the right of the main castle on the corner of the wall. The one in the art is tall and skinny. The one we got is shorter and seems to be closer to the back of Gaston's than what the concept art shows. Artistic license with the art I suppose.
