What is all that black stuff on the ground?

That is actually the roof of one of the rooms off the utilidors, cast locker room I believe. The black stuff is most likely a form of water proofing for that roof.

Not sure if they are digging for the bridge, but the wire mesh is defintely the start of the mountain/cliff that will be on the building.

i did not think it was unsound thats just what the rummers said( if they were they would have been closed and repaired a long time ago) I knew that they were rotting though
