Larger than usual October Crowds

It was so packed this past weekend! I got most of the rides done at MK on Sunday during the Magic Hour. On Friday, I left MK because I couldn't stand it anymore! The lines were too long, people were too crazy and some guy on Main Street nearly took our my ACL AGAIN with his stroller! Disney made a killing on Friday night with sweatshirt sales though! It was chilly!

I couldn't believe how full the parks were. At All Star Music, I couldn't find a parking place anywhere except in the front where check in parking is. A CM told me to park there. When I checked on Sunday morning, people were parked in the fire lanes...it was just crazy!

I did have a great time though. I got to see some of my good friends and heck, I was at WDW! I was happy for that...but since I don't know when I'm going back, I'm sad...

Now don't y'all forget...October is no longer a "value rate" month. Now with addition of MNSSHP plus at times they roll out new parades and rides, October has been getting busier and busier. Back in 2001, in October, it was surprisingly crowded. This is why i moved my trip to November.

There seem to be a lot of locals entering pretty consistently for Mickey's Not So Scary. There also appears to be a bit of an influx of Latin American tour groups, I assume because their winter is just ending. Combine that with lots of Brits and FL locals with a bit of a vacation, and you have this. I haven't seen a slow day in the parks in about a week. Except Columbus Day, oddly enough it was good then.
