Well, I need to take the puppies out.

I forgot to tell you about our neighbor. George and I have been working the past 4 years at cleaning up the property next to us. We have always mowed the front lawn. But the back half was just over grown with trees and junk. We cut out a lot of trees, and just cleaned for 4 years. The owner was fine with it and we could store some of our stuff over there.
We just finished having all of the stumps grounded out (at our expense) and filled in the holes (at our expense). Her kids are visiting and all of our stuff that has been over there for 4 years were put on our lawn.
I happend to be near the window when her daughter was asking where the property lines were (they know we are interested in buying the land, they wont sell).

Well, if they want to rebuild on the property, they need to get a variance and George and I decided we wont give it the them. For 30+ years they didn't care about the property. We started cleaning it because it was encrouching on our land. As time went on we liked the property to add to our land. The house was torn down this summer and the foundation was taken out and the hole filled in. Now that all the work is done, they want it. I don't think so. They had their chance to do something with the land for years. Now it can just sit there again.

It was kind of nice actually (the flight). I did good.

The trip was interesting, but I don't think I would do it again.

Manny is an elderly neighbor of mine who likes to occupy his time in the summer by scoping out the cleavage at the pool. He wears those big oversized sunglasses (the kind that fit over regular glasses) and prowls the pool deck. On really hot days he does his prowling in the pool. A lot of the woman don't like him, but I think he's harmless (and a real hoot), but that might be because when it comes to cleavage scoping, I'm pretty much left alone. :lookaroun
