All right, well since you all asked (:D ) I am grumpy because Em starts school tomorrow. But that is not actually why I am grumpy...I am grumpy because we had a wonderful evening at Sissy' s and when we got home it turns out I left my camera there (5 minutes away). And so Grant FREAKED and went storming out to retrieve it...now, the settling down part of tonight was going to be stressful enough (ie, she's nervous about the morning, we're packing her school bag, ironing clothes, etc.) without the other Guiding Light in her life having a melt down...

He does this a lot...manifests his nerves/stress with anger.

So I kicked him in the a--.

:lookaroun
Sorry to hear about that. I have been there (both sides of the freak out). Thank goodness George and I learned to just roll our eyes and say here we go again. A lot of times we forget what is more important and are thankful to have those that love us to kick us in the .
Big day tomorrow and should focus on that (and I am sure that pictures are important, but how important?) Are we going to frame that pic and place it on the wall, is it just going to go into a photo album, etc. I know I kick myslef for forgetting the camera for special events, but I realize it was more important to be there and remember it, then it was to stress out.

Your sister broke the internet? :lookaroun
She may be in big trouble. . .

Oh, she's in trouble all right...it's taken every ounce of my infintissemal computer skills to get the Dell desktop back on line...nevemind my poor wee laptop, which is supposed to go on the Internet as easy as you or I draw breath...

Dan, you forgot to tell me more about how beautiful I am!!!

All right, so you're making me see both sides of the issue. Which I can appreciate(psst...you're supposed to take MY side!!!)

But I would have been hysterical tomorrow morning...I know I would have...I didn't even realized I'd left it there until my sister called.

Sigh...but you are kind of right...I've actually stopped bringing the video camera to a lot of stuff because I just want to be there and enjoy it, as opposed to trying to jockey around the person in front of me's head and getting all crazy.

I'm great. I finally have internet at my house and I am finally home from visiting my in-laws all weekend. (My mother in law is great...my father in law is a bit of a hoosier. :( )

And...I have 10 days left until I'm in Disney...but who's counting? :lookaroun

How are you sweetie?

10 DAYS!!!!!! Holy cow!!!! I'm not jealous or anything even remotely like it!!!!

In-laws...always a mixed bag. I've talked more to my FIL in the time since MIL passed than I did in 5 years...weird but good. I know she'd be happy.

You tell Miss Bunny for me if it wasn't for her secrecy that she would be the current owner of THE most adorable baby girl outfit evah...3 weeks ago I was at the sample outlet with this outfit in my hand (0-3 months)going..."If only I knew someone to buy this for!!!". Too cute...but I'll be going back there soon, maybe I can find something similar...since it's an outlet, the stuff changes constantly and you ought to just buy it when you see it.

Did you ever see the episode of "Friends" where the whole gang is on some tropical island for a vacation and it rains the whole time? And Monica's hair turns into a humungous Brillo pad as time goes by?

Yeah well that could be me.

Um...yes I saw that episode...and I don't think that could be you...because that is 100% me. I look exactly like Monica does when my hair hits humidity. The curlyness makes for one frizzy mess.

Ok, you are beautiful and smart. And I have nothing else to say but stupid men! :D

Seriously, I am going to bed beautiful and be a proud mama tomorrow as the little one heads off to school. *Hands Amy a box of tissues for tomorrow*

Hello, Nibbs. You're beautiful too.

Now, Goodnight! I am off to bed so I can do more accounting homework tomorrow. :brick:

Yeah...I'm really getting excited. And I just looked at the 15 day weather forecast and so far, so good. Not a drop of rain yet and the temps are slowly going down during the week. So it won't be too blistering hot either. (Hopefully)

And you're right. In-laws are a mixed bag. I used to really get along with him...but the wedding really opened my eyes and I saw some things that I didn't like about him after that. (I got married in Jamaica you know...and the guys in the wedding all had to simply wear Carribbean shirts and kakhis. 10 minutes after the wedding he had gone upstairs to change into something else. 10 MINUTES! And I don't think they came down to the main dining area for the "reception" like the rest of the wedding party did.)

And I also know what you mean about Bunny. I keep wanting to pass by the infant girl dept. just so I can pick something out to send her. Now knowing that it really was a sweet little girl that we can dress.

Hooray for good weather!!! So excited for you!

I don't understand why he would change, and then not even come back down! You're wedding sounds so fun, it's a shame he couldn't get into the spirit of it!

I know, how fun is it that we have a baby girl?

aw...thanks Dan.

Um...neither was I...really...:lookaroun

LOL, thanks Dan! study hard!

I am really getting excited too. I've been dreaming about this vacation since the wedding. And now it's almost here! :D

Yeah...there were some other things that happened at the wedding...like when we had the reception back here...he didn't want to be in the recieving line we had to have to greet the guests...b/c they didn't come down to the wedding and this was the first time we were seeing them. He didn't want to be in it so much that he showed up late. And I mean after the whole shindig got started. Also, he didn't want to be in pictures...he said, I'll only be in 1 picture...well, since my parents are photographers...that didn't fly. Various other things too...but those were the main things that put a sour taste in my mouth and while I try not to let that influence the way I think about him now...he keeps doing little things that irk me. (Like drinking the milk straight out of the jug last night. Needless to say, I didn't drink any more milk the rest of the trip. And his mom bought it for me, essentially.)

Oh, it's so great to have a new baby girl. We really didn't know Dana when Maggie was born...so this is like a whole cool thing to be a part of.
