No, not really. The card is activated but his new PIN won't be here for about 5 days (he leaves Thursday). At least he can use it now though at the bookstore.

gotcha. I was gonna say b/c if it was a debit thing...he could use it then as the credit part...and not have to worry about a pin. At least for now. Of course, he'll need the pin in the future though.

The thing is all of his $$$ is in the account, but at least he can use it as a credit card to get his books and what not.
