Riku doesn't and can't wield a Keyblade because of darkness. He wields the Soul Eater, which has become a trademark weapon for him and I don't see him giving it up anytime soon. He only wielded a Keyblade for a short period of time...but that went down the tubes. However, if he somehow finds a way to be cleansed completely, them maybe.

He used his keyblade the entire last world of KHII

What I meant to say was something more based off Terra and Riku's keyblade connection. During the destruction of Destiny Islands in the original game, Riku was "supposed" to be the Keyblade wielder, but as he sunk into the darkness, reaching out to Sora, the Keyblade found the stronger heart in Sora. The reason why Kairi and Riku can suddnly wield a Keyblade in KH is a mystery, where as in the original, Sora was THE Keyblade Master, as in, there was no other one. Maybe that'd be explained.

I realize that, but how come they don't wield the Keyblade until Kingdom Hearts II, when they all receive the power along the same time, yet Sora carries the weapon around the entire time?

You'd be surprised, Square-Enix actually has a good record of making a storyline seem legitimate, even when the situations are unrealistic. I'm making it so that this game does make sense, storyline and consistency are key.

I'm waiting until the competition at VF is over. I only have until Thursday to finish up my final project. So, once the weekend comes, I'll be able to work on this again full force. Besides, creating a video game is a daunting task and viewers who have stuck through for the past two games know that there will be weeks when I won't update, but that doesn't mean I've given up. It's just on a minor hiatus until the weekend.

To tide you over, the next world is a brand new world to the KH series. The Disney version of the film is animated, however, there are also several live-action representation of this film, as well.

Ok, the competition at VF is over, so I'm ready to return to this! Sorry for the short hiatus, but when you're working on multiple projects, I'd like it better to work on a certain one at a time, keeps up quality.

Anyway, with school starting, updates may be a little slow, but no need to worry, I WILL be finishing this massive game. I didn't create two games for nothing, you know! The next update is coming...today...

Sora, Donald and Goofy arrive on the World Map, on the base of the Radiant Garden world. Similar to the previous Kingdom Hearts games, the team uses a Gummi Ship to navigate throughout the worlds. A shimmering pathway from Radiant Garden leads to the next world. However, in order to unlock the next world, the team must unlock the Gummi Gate. The Gummi Gate is labeled Forest Freeway, where the team battles several Heartless ships, while flying through a forest environment.

After the team successfully navigates through the Gummi Gate, they gain access to the next world.

Nottingham

Sora, Donald and Goofy arrive in Nottingham, in a beautiful forestsetting. They are in the middle of Sherwood Forest, a large forest which makes up a lot of the surrounding world of Nottingham. After slightly exploring the area, it doesn’t take long for the Heartless to suddenly show up and cause a scene, forcing the team into a hasty fight.

After the brief struggle with the Heartless, it seems that the team is cornered and the Heartless are just about ready to attack. Suddenly, an arrow shoots through the forest and is aimed directly at a Heartless. The creature is destroyed, causing all of the other Heartless monsters to flee and disappear. From out of the forest, comes Robin Hood, a notorious thief in Nottingham. The team introduce themselves and mentions their business on why they’re here.

From out of the forest, Little John appears and Robin Hood introduces him as his companion. They’ve been labeled as thieves and the Sheriff of Nottingham has been trying to track them down and capture them. In all honesty, they’ve simply been taking things from the rich and supplying them to the poor. In their eyes, they don’t really think they’ve done anything wrong; they’re just helping people out. However, the Sheriff of Nottingham says otherwise.

Robin Hood fears that if Sora and the others are seen with them, that they will be convicted as thieves, as well and that it’s probably best if they weren’t seen with eachother. Then again, with all of the Heartless creatures roaming about, it might be a better idea to travel in larger groups, making combat easier. With that, Robin Hood joins the party and they begin to make their way back the way they came.

After the cutscene is over, there is the chance to explore the forest further. Upon doing so, you will find the Sherwood Alcove a hidden grass alcove, completely shrouded in trees and plants, hidden to the eye. In the center of the alcove, there is a save point. The area is a nice hidden find.

Back in the forest, the team makes their way throughout the area, continuing forward and fighting the Heartless along the way. The team enters the Forest Trail, another, somewhat larger area of the forest. The area is narrow and aligned with trees. Ahead, in the distance, you can make out some sort of courtyard. The team fights their way through the Heartless, as they approach the next area.

While walking throughout the forest, Robin Hood mentions the ruler of Nottingham, Prince John. His servant, Sir Hiss, hypnotized the former king, King Richard into battling in The Crusades and in his absence; Prince John claimed the throne, much to people’s dismay. Ever since then, he’s raised taxes extraordinarily, only making himself wealthier. He’s not a large threat, but it still isn’t right what he is doing to Nottingham.

Robin Hood professes his romantic infatuation for Maid Marian, a fair maiden who lives in Nottingham. Even though they haven’t seen each other in years, they still hold feelings for each other. After the brief conversation, the team continues through the forest until they arrive at the Castle Courtyard.

Once inside the Castle Courtyard, Sora, Donald and Goofy spot Prince John, sitting on his throne, Sir Hiss, slithering next to him. Throughout the courtyard, characters from all over the kingdom are seen. Maid Marian is seen by a shimmering fountain. Friar Tuck and Alan-a-Dale are conversing in a corner. There are several other villagers and townspeople out and about. The entire area seems bustling with excitement, what could be the occasion? At that moment, Prince John orders attention and announces a new archery tournament, which is about to commence.

The winner of the tournament will receive a kiss from Maid Marian. Now is Robin’s perfect chance to spark his romance with Marian. He enters the competition, unbeknownst to Prince John. Sora, Donald and Goofy enter the competition, as well. However, being able to compete will not be so easy for Robin, as there are those who are trying to capture him. With that, he and Little John disappear for a brief moment, leaving the team to question where they had vanished to.

Moments later, Robin and Little John re-appear. Robin has now disguised himself as a stork, while Little John disguises himself as the Duke of Chutney. With that the tournament is about to commence. Beforehand, you can explore the courtyard more, where you’ll find a passage that leads to Prince John’s Quarters. Inside, you’ll find his rather frilly bed arrangement, along with a save point. Back outside the chambers, you can strike up a conversation with Maid Marian or Friar Tuck. Even Prince John and Sir Hiss have a few choice words for you, remarking on your unusual appearance. When you’re ready to start the tournament, head over to Robin Hood, who is already waiting for you.

The tournament commences, the contestants being, Robin, Sora, Donald, Goofy, the Sheriff of Nottingham, as well as several other competitiors. With that, a mini-game begins.

Prince John’s Archery Tournament

In this mini-game, Sora is given a bow and arrow and must shoot at a target, trying to hit the red zone of a circle. The crowd cheers on the sidelines, but also serves as somewhat of a distraction. In the first round, Sora must shoot at a target, which is fairly close to him. Depending on how close the arrow reaches to the red circle, the more points Sora gets. There is a gauge at the top of the screen, which displays the power and speed of the arrow. You wanted to be a good, steady speed. Too slow and it might miss the target, too fast and it might shoot right through the target!

In the second round, the target is pushed back further. The same rules apply for the second round as they did in the first round. The only difference is that the target is slightly pushed back. On the sides of the archway, you can see Donald on your right, epically failing at shooting the arrow and causing a temper-tantrum…I guess he’s been disqualified. On your left, you see Goofy with the bow and arrow…trying to shoot the bow off the arrow. Regardless of whether or not that works, he’s been disqualified, as well.

In the final, third round, Sora is put up against the Sheriff of Nottingham. In the third course, the target is the farthest away and is actually a race. The first one to hit that target proceeds to the finals. When the gauge builds up enough speed, shoot the arrow and it is sure to hit the target. The Sheriff of Nottingham is eliminated from the tournament.

In the final round, Sora faces…Robin Hood? Sora realizes that Robin Hood only entered the competition to win Marian’s heart. Would it really be nice if he won the competition? Robin Hood steps up to the straightaway, bow and arrow in hand. The crowd draws a dead silence. Robin unleashes the arrow, as it flies towards the target. The arrow lands just outside the red circle. After Robin Hood steps down, Sora takes his place, bow and arrow in hand. Sora holds the arrow up, aiming at the target. He closes his eyes and unleashes the arrow, slightly tilted upwards. The arrow flies above the target, hitting a tree. Sora purposely missed the target.

Robin Hood is proclaimed the winner of the tournament! In the midst of the victory, Sir Hiss recognizes Robin Hood and is about to reveal him. However, Alan-a-Dale and Friar Tuck trap him in a barrel. As Robin wins, Maid Marian congratulates him and just as he is about to get his kiss, Prince John catches on and realizes that the winner is Robin Hood in disguise. Prince John orders to have Robin Hood executed. At the sudden reaction, Little John causes a brawl between himself, Robin and Prince John’s soldiers. Of course, Sora, Donald and Goofy can’t miss out on the action, either!

-Boss: Prince John’s Soldiers-

This battle is simple. There are six soldiers who are after the team and Robin Hood. They do not have much life, but their attacks can provide quite a challenge. It is much easier to go after a specific soldier, than attacking several soldiers all at once. By going after one soldier at a time, not only do you defeat each enemy quicker, but the battle becomes much easier and it will end sooner.

After the battle, there is a moment of silence, before a low rumble starts to form. The Heartless appear to flood the castle. Sora, Donald and Goofy take this as their cue and begin to fight the creatures off. The battle against the Heartless isn’t all that tough, in fact, it’s a good way to increase EXP. Before you know it, all of the creatures will be destroyed and everything will be back to normal…or is it?

The fleet of shadows converge into the ground and travel over to the tournament grounds. The dark shadow wraps around a bow and arrow and morph into this new Heartless, ready to attack. Sora, Donald and Goofy spring into action, ready to take down the creature.

-Boss: Archer of Darkness-

This creature is a dark demon, wielding a bow and arrow, aiming darkness at you! The creature starts off the battle invincible, so don’t bother trying to attack it. The creature begins by letting out a rain of arrows, straight at Sora. Simply dodge roll or run to avoid the arrows of darkness. If you’re hit, it’s no major problem. If you end up taking some pretty serious damage, use a potion to heal yourself.

Once the creature finishes firing his arrows, he’ll finally be able to be attacked again. Head into the creature and unleash some seriously powerful combos and you’ll realize that this creature isn’t anything to be frightened of. Watch out, however, the creature can also attack with his claws or by trying to snap his sharp teeth at you. The creature still manages to fire single arrows at you. If you’re lucky and you’re timing is just right, you may be able to hit the arrow back at the creature, inflicting damage on the monster. However, like I said earlier, simply use a potion if things get out of control. The creature will soon crumble and disappear, leaving the bow and arrow behind.

Once the battle is over, Robin Hood and Maid Marian reunite. Robin Hood and Maid Marian retreat to Sherwood Forest, along with Little John and the rest of the townsfolk. Sora, Donald and Goofy follow shortly behind. As they proceed back to the forest, they proclaim Prince John as the “Phony King of England”. Back in the Sherwood Forest, the townspeople, Robin Hood, Main Marian, Little John and the team are all reunited.

Things didn’t turn out exactly as they planned, but at least Robin and Marian are reunited. They share a kiss, while Sora, Donald and Goofy decide to head out. Suddenly rays of sunlight peek through the forest trees and branches and cast a series of wandering shadows along the forest ground. The light and shadows align perfectly to reveal a Keyhole, revealed by the rays of the sunlight. Sora raises his Keyblade. A ray of energy shoots from within the Keyblade and the Keyhole is sealed.

Robin Hood states that they can stop by anytime that want. Sora, Donald and Goofy re-assure that they will be back. With that, they leave Nottingham, ready to explore the next world.

Sora obtains the Blizzard Spell.

Jiminy’s Journal – Nottingham

Sora, Donald and Goofy arrived in Nottingham, where they met Robin Hood and Little John. They had become notorious as thieves, but were actually helping the poor in need. Robin Hood and Little John are being tracked down by the Sheriff of Nottingham. Robin Hood stated that the King of England, King Richard, went off to fight The Crusades and while he was gone, Prince John took the throne, along with his sidekick, Sir Hiss. Prince John has ever-since raised taxes in order to make him richer.

Upon exploring Nottingham further, they arrived at a Castle Courtyard, where Prince John had announced an archery tournament. The winner of the tournament would receive a kiss from Maid Marian. Robin and Marian share a romantic relationship with each other, yet they haven’t seen each other in years. Robin signed up, along with Sora, Donald and Goofy. In order to participate without being caught, Robin Hood and Little John disguised themselves. In the end, it came down to Robin and Sora. Sora purposely missed the target, making Robin the winner.

In the midst of the tournament, both Prince John and Sir Hiss discovered Robin in disguise and ordered their soldiers to take care for them. However, a Heartless monster soon appeared. Sora, Donald and Goofy quickly took care of the monster. Robin, Marian, Little John and the rest of the villagers returned to Sherwood Forest, where they proclaimed Prince John as the “Phony King of England”.

When returning to the forest, the Keyhole was revealed and Sora sealed it. Robin Hood told them to stop by anytime they wanted. Sora, Donald and Goofy set sail for the next world.

That was NICE! Can't wait for the epic invasion of the castle, that'll be great. Any clues for the next world?
Thanks! I'm not quite sure if there will be any invasions in THIS castle, but perhaps somewhere else. Oh, and the next world is going to be incredible! Hint.
