Here now is the next part of the game. Whenever possible, I will have pictures of worlds to show what they are (this will be primarily for returning worlds, however).
The camera fades in on the magic train from KH2 as it departs from Twilight Town to the titular tower. Inside the train are much older versions of Sora and Kairi, aged now about 37, and their now-14-year-old daughter, Hanak, who looks like Kairi in age and appearance in KH1, but with eye and hair color like Sora.
Hanak asks her mother and father where they are going. They respond, as dodgy as possible so as not to let on what they know too much, that they are going to meet some friends of theirs, friends that she will most like to see. They tell her it's a surprise and they can't let on too much. Hanak subsides reluctantly. The camera then cuts back to the outside of the train. The camera then pans up to the sky where the title of the game "Kingdom Hearts: A New Generation" is displayed.
Then the camera fades back to the train as it arrives at the Mysterious Tower of Yen Sid. This area is familiar to Sora, yet unfamiliar and unexplored to Kairi and especially Hanak. They look around in awe, Sora pleased that nothing has changed. As they approach the door to the tower, they look up at it. It is a surrealistic, crooked, golden-brown tower, topped with blue-colored cone turret roofs, covered in moons and stars, not unlike the sorcerer hat. Near the door is a save point.
Hanak and her parents enter the door of the tower. Inside, they find themselves inside a simple round room, with a spiral staircase leading upward to nowhere, as the stairway comes to an abrupt end at a door. Sora comments on how nothing has changed since he was here so many years ago. Sora, Kairi and Hanak go up the stairway to the door, which they pass through. They find themselves transported higher up the tower, where they are surprised to find that the staircases float randomly in mid-air. They lead to other doors or up and down the Tower.
Passing through another door at the end of this stairway, Hanak and her parents find themselves in yet another stairway, this one called the Moon Chamber, so called because of its moon-themed elements in the area. They pass up the stairs to another door, leading to another chamber called the Star Chamber, for its star elements here and there. Finally, the family enters through one last stairway, leading to Yen Sid's Study.
Here, Hanak and her parents encounter Master Yen Sid himself, but also with Sora's two longtime compadres, Donald Duck and Goofy. Sora runs over to them and embraces them, ecstatic to see them again. They hug back, but then warn the family to be more proper here, since they are in the presence of Master Yen Sid. A moment later, Yen Sid appears. He says that he has been expecting them.
Sora and Kairi bring their daughter before Yen Sid. He gives the family a book that explains the events of the past KH games (you can look at the book later if you wish), and then goes on to explain about the situation at hand: Sora's blood runs in Hanak's veins, and that means she has been destined to carry on her father's legacy in his place, to battle the Heartless and keep worlds safe from danger. Yen Sid warns Hanak that she will probably never see her dad and mom again, because, as of this moment, they are entrusting her to the care of Donald and Goofy. Yen Sid tells her not to worry, however, as her parents will now be with King Mickey. Hanak and her parents hug each other. They tearfully say their good-byes to their daughter, who then bravely accepts her fate.
Hanak steps forward, away from her parents and towards Yen Sid, Donald and Goofy. Donald and Goofy provide her with the Kingdom Key Keyblade her father had owned for years. Yen Sid then provides her with the first of many spells she will learn in the game: the Fire spell. He then summons the Gummi Ship to Donald, Goofy and Hanak. He finally he provides her with a map of all the worlds they will travel to in the game and they can consult it whenever necessary. They climb in, Hanak sadly waving good-bye to her mother and father as she steps in. They are also joined by another party member: Jiminy Cricket, who had just ran in from running a bit late to get to help them with the chronicles of their upcoming adventure. Once everyone is seated, the cockpit closes. Then, to the roar of engines, the Gummi Ship blasts off into the great unknown to carry on Hanak's father's legacy.
But as the ship leaves the tower, someone watches them from down below: Maleficent! She sees the ship take off and lets loose with her trademark cackle. Another someone, Pete, approaches her and asks, "What? What'd I miss?"
At this point, Hanak now has Donald and Goofy in her party.
Now the Mysterious Tower world is seen on the typical map of the KH series' games. The Gummi Ship can now be piloted toward a new world...
