Kim Possible returning to Epcot

Hey, not heard anything about this on the boards, but i've seen a few signs around World Showcase that the Kim Possible game will be returning in one way or another. Biggest development is the small bit of construction on the side of Mitsukoshi nearest the smoking area. A few weeks ago they had what looked like a Bonsai tree on a turntable which would turn to show the tree with and without leaves. Now the area is covered in green tarps and what looks to be the framework for some fake rockwork. Check it out next time your in Japan.

I also know they have installed some new electronics in Germany for the game, but I don't know where the game location is in this country.

Japan's scene installations followed the scenes returned to the UK. France has had some of its previous systems for the game upgraded so that they will accomodate for the new version of the game, and all of its new, high tech capabilities. Germany and Japan should continue with their preparation work China and Norway set to receive their pieces next.

Sorry for being out of the loop, but what is the Kim Possible game?? If this looks good we may have our sons try it, maybe we could have them out of our hair for awhile. :D:animwink::sohappy:

A few years ago they tested out the game at Epcot. You used a special cell phone which was dubbed The "Kimmunicator" and as you went through World Showcase you'd find clues and then find your culprit hiding out on the second floor of the imagination pavillion (The old imageworks).

Has anybody heard a rumor of when it might possibly be up and running?

Depending on how the tech side of the new game is going, it could be as early as the holiday season or as late as next Summer. This game won't be using the Nextel-Motorola model phones. The entire game will be upgraded on a scale that puts the test to shame.

That looks interesting, maybe it' will be like an add on to those kidcot fun stops.

I think Disney is planning on this acting as the Kidcot for the 8-12 year old set...
The current Kidcot Funstops aren't really very interesting for kids over the age of 7 (if even that old).

As far as installation goes, almost everything is installed already. In fact, China was the first to be completed and tested. Norway was next. All together over 40 "gamepieces" have been installed all around World Showcase.

Just out of curiousity do these game or set pieces blend in with the country they are in? I hope. I guess I mean are they made to look like it has to do with the look and culture of the pavilion or just standard kim possible theming? Im really not familiar with the concept at all so I wasnt sure what this really entailed.

Why are they still doing Kim Possible stuff? The show is pretty much dead in the water and not as popular as it used to be.

Because the game itself is freakin' awesome.

Trust me, from one who hates everything Disney Channel, you'll have a blast running from country to country activating hidden interactive EFX with your super sleek phone and acting like an all-around EPCOT superspy.
:D

Yeah on the Streets of america everyone was watching Mulch Sweat and Shears on one side of the street. While Kim and her companion danced to the music across the street with no one paying attention to them.

maybe they could theme the game to somthing other than Kim Possible.

Mickey's Detective Agency?

I think the question isn't: why are they bringing the game back? But: why are they still theming it to Kim Possible?

Yeah! I love that too! Kim Possible has no match of Mickey Mouse!
