Apparently the Barney pre-show is being gutted right now according to the Inside Universal forum. Do you guys think we will get something to replace the show or will it sit empty like the Sinbad Theater?

Pokémon and Spongebob are popular enough to carry their own lands (however, I wouldn’t mind just going the attraction route with either). Trolls? Eh yeah that seems like a good fit for a simple coaster retheme, but I think Woody Woodpecker is a cooler character.
I agree but Spongebob I highly doubt due to the fact Universal is using ips they now own except Nintendo and Potter. I'd bet whatever replaces kidszone will be Pokemon or Trolls or something else Universal owns.
Apparently the Barney preshow theater has been gutted and the old fountain is being filled up with water again. Do you guys think we may get a new show this year in the theater?

Good catch. That is too bad, that is a lot of open area not being utilized. Given the proximity to
Hogsmeade, maybe a Harry Potter stunt show. They could utilize the current stage with some small
revisions and probably put together a fun show.

Besides Sinbad and Blue Man Group. It really is nuts how Universal has 5 empty theaters! They could easily have shows in all of them.
That would be awesome! Unfortunately it seems like Universal is going to keep the sinbad theater closed till Zelda replaces lost continent.
A Kung-Fu Panda land opened in Beijing this past week. This would make for a great replacement of kidszone. The ride looks great!

I would say the entire Kidzone just be renamed Dreamworks Destination.
- The former Barney park plaza as a M&G area. And Donkey could be shifted over into the area.
- The Theater becomes Kung Fu Panda Adventure
- Fievel's Playland Transforms to Trolls Playland with a Princess Poppy retheme to the water slide with the area.
- Woody's Nuthouse Coaster becomes A smaller version of Enchanted Airway with Shrek characters strewn around the que and the coaster car becomes Dragon.
- An additional ride The Flying Dronkey's would be added adjacent to Enchanted Airway
- Curious George Goes to Town rethemed to Madagascar with the town being rethemed to a jungle water playground
- The Ball Factory becomes King Julien's Ball Room with new Ball targets and Madagascar characters adding to the retheme.
- And a new Madagascar Merry Go Round added to the section..
- Oh and The odd Spongebob store becomes a Dreamworks Destination Store..
- But, as always E.T. stays as Spielberg demands it.

I agree with this. It could be reimagined to Dreamworks as I was just at Universal the other day and saw they have the Dreamworks sign where Barney resided.

And honestly..Who here remember's Fievel in this day in age...
the live action- animated Woody Woodpecker film tanked in hope to resurge his popularity.
And Curious George just seems so out of place being themed to the book instead of the animated film it was based upon..
i can also go without saying that...Sorry if anyone like this..They could get rid of The Animal Actors show and expand the footprint of DreamWorks Destination..
