Hello Everyone! This is my trip report for my trip to WDW.
First of all, I went with my aunt, my uncle, my 19 year old cousin Jack, my 9 year old cousin Joey, and my 21 year old sister Amy and we stayed at the Boardwalk Villas.
January 11
Not much happened,
Our plane left at 2:30 and we arrived in Orlando at about 5:00. We checked into our room (VERY nice!!!!) and head over to the Yacht Club's Cape Maye Cafe for dinner, it was very good and according to Joey, they had the "best brownies in the world", I agree with him
January 12
First of all, we ate at Spoodles Mediterranean Restaurant (on the Boardwalk) for breakfast, it was pretty tasty (I had Mickey waffles, WOOHOO! )
We then headed for the MK by bus. We got to the MK and we first headed to Buzz (On Ride photos, on Buzz???) and Jack, Amy, and I rode Space Mountain twice within 10 minutes (There were hardly any lines over 20 minutes this whole trip!!!) and we ate at Cosmic Ray's, which is always delicious We then rode HM and went to Philharmagic (which, honestly, I liked, but wasn't extremely impressed with) and then we went on Splash Mountain 3 times and BTMRR twice We ate at California Grill at the Contemporary for dinner, it was VERY good. Our waiter was one of the best at WDW for sure, he was so nice and funny. He came up to us at one point and started asking Jack and I history questions, we both got them right, so he gave me a 1976 bicentennial quarter and Jack a 1917 half dollar (He was a coin collector, and his name was Ron if you were wondering)
We watched Wishes from the rooftop balcony of the Contemporary, it was awesome!!!
January 13
We ate at the Yacht Club Galley for breakfast, it was very good!
We then headed to Animal Kingdom, had fun, saw lots of MULLETS (most of my WDW photos are mullets, because Jack, Amy, and I are all mullet freaks LOL!!!) We headed for Epcot after eating at the cafeteria place at the Animal Kingdom Lodge (Boma and Jiko were closed at that time of day) I went on Test Track and I loved it (plus, I saw Kenan working there, I think ) Then, Jack and I went on M:S, let me tell you, it's like nothing I've ever felt before, it was great, we went on it twice.
We then headed over to World Showcase and ate dinner at the Teppenyaki Grill in Japan, where the chefs cook your food at your table.
January 14
We decided not to go out for breakfast, so I had some Sugar Smacks and then we headed for MGM by boat (took about 30 minutes for something that would have taken 15 minutes by foot)
Jack, Amy and I went to Rock n' Roller Coaster (my first time, and now it is my favorite ride after riding 4 times!!!) we went to just about everything worth seeing (Muppets, etc. But no ToT) We went to Who Wants to be a Millionaire and Amy and I were both on the top 10 list at the end of the game! We then saw Indy (my first time, and I really liked it, except we were at a bad angle so we could see how far away the punches come from actually hitting the people etc.) We ate lunch at Sci Fi Diner, and I had the best milkshake I have EVER had (Cookies and Cream :slurp: )
We then headed over to World Showcase and ate at Le Cellier Steakhouse in Canada. It was delicious, especially the desert, the Chocolate "Moose", it was mousse in the shape of a moose, complete with cookie antlers! It was very tasty! We then came back to the Boardwalk and while Jack and Amy watched the Badgers basketball game at the ESPN Club, I wandered around the Boardwalk, buying pins, playing games etc.
January 15
We ate donuts in our room for breakfast, and went to Epcot for the day. We first went on Spaceship Earth, and then Test Track (but no M:S) and then we saw Ellen. We ate at the Coral Reef, which has great food and great scenery, I had grilled Mahi. Jack, Amy, and I spent most of our time at World Showcase. We saw Reflections of China, Maelstrom, O' Canada, and the American Adventure. We also looked at the shops at some of the different countries, We saw the oddly shaped neck and back massager in Japan (see the Post Pictures of You thread) :lookaroun
We ate dinner at Les Chefs de France, which was pretty good. I had some lobster bisque soup, which was not very good, but not because there was anything wrong with it, I just don't like the taste. I had some cod, which was good, but it was surrounded by oysters (yuck) I had some delicious chocolate mousse for dessert.
January 16
We headed for Downtown Disney, bought presents for mom, dad, my sister Kathleen, my sister Molly, my sister Molly's fiancee Matt, and my brother Chris. We ate at the Rainforest Cafe, which was pretty good, I had a huge Icee to drink (yum yum yum, hehe) and a barbequed chicken pizza which was alright, but a little spicy. We then left WDW for the airport, and now I am in cold Wisconsin writing this trip report
Hope you liked my trip report which doesn't even do justice to this GREAT trip, I had so much fun, I want to do it all over again right now
