I hate Hate HATE Kazaa! Anytime I download stuff it either goes really slow, or I end up with ography!
Win MX is alot better, although all my friends seem to hate it.

I'm the resident media pirate and I use WinMx for all my thefts of copyrighted material. No spyware...there's nothing worse than constant interruption when you're stealing something.:lol:

I use KaZaA Light. No pop ups or Spyware or whatever. I have a coupple thousand MP3's and it has yet to fail me.

yeah... but they are liers and there is spyware in that program.. get "ad-aware" then run it to kill all the spyware... then its good as gold

KazaaLite here too.. only thing is.. ever notice how it utilizes 100% of the CPU cycles every minute or so. It's annoying when you are trying to encode videos and Kazaa starts stealing CPU cycles. It brings the machine to a crawl for a brief instant. My friends noticed this too... why would Kazaa need to use 100% of the CPU at any given time?

Yes I noticed it used alot of memory, I think its becuase when you are downloading a file from more than 1 source, it expands the file to the full size so that it knows where to put the parts of the file together (hard to explain).

Oh yeah I use kazaa lite also. And in other news, the Ad Aware website just got a major change, and there is going to be a new version at the start of next month.

...more than over 2 weeks of audio? lol..I use winMX also..along with Kazaa and Direct Connect (a decentralized service...very good...they have 1 petabyte of stuff sharing on their services...go to www.neo-modus.com and dl it!)

I tried imesh a few times, just to see if they improved, but apparantly they didn't. I was unable to connect to ANY server
