I have 3 children, 1 is a toddler. I was just wondering if you are allowed to take bottled water and snacks into the parks. If so can they be in soft sided coolers? Just trying to figure out a way to save a few dollars. I appreciate any suggestions anyone may have

You can take in a picnic lunch if you want to. Disney has no restricitions when it comes to food and drinks except alcohol. You will be perfectly fine bringing in a soft sided cooler with some snacks and drinks.

Now, they tend to frown upon explosives and such. :lookaroun  :lookaroun

We bring a soft-sided cooler with frozen bottled waters and 'chilled' snacks each day. We also have a small backpack that is filled with the essentials (camera batteries, dry snacks for my son, change of clothes for him, sunscreen, hand sanitizer, etc.)

I've got a dorm fridge with an actual separated freezer that we bring and keep in our resort room. We fill the freezer with bottles each night and they're ready the next morning for the cooler. We also use them to keep his 'cold snacks' chilled (pre-cut apples, grapes, etc.)

We have to have 2 bags cleared by security @ each park, but its a VERY minor inconvenience. So yeah, my picky eater gets his snacks, we get chilled water and juice boxes, etc. and don't have to spend a fortune each day for snacks/drinks.

You may NOT, for any reason, bring a chainsaw into the parks.

You MAY bring a camera.

What everyone else said. :lookaroun

:ROFLOL:That was the best thing about going to WDW. We brought all our food/snacks for the day. We did not stay on property, so we brought everything!!! Water bottles, juice boxes and sippie cups, granola bars, yogurts... and also lunch stuff. We usually ate dinner at the parks.

That is defn'tly a BIG PLUS about Disney. Enjoy your trip! :sohappy:

Aww, man! :lookaroun
I guess that I need to remember that next time I'm packing...:lookaroun

Like everyone else said, you can bring snacks and coolers. I don't suggest lugging a refrigerator around with you though. Your back might not be too happy with you by the end of the day. :lookaroun

Another thing you cannot bring in are HEALEYS - shoes with built-in wheels. Just in case your older kids have a pair. DON'T BRING THEM.

We save by bringing our own water and snacks each year too.

Except for ice cream break everyday at 2:30... :slurp: can't bring ice cream in...guess I'll have to have a Dole Float!!!!

no alcohol or glass bottles.quote]

Correct...

Last year we had packed up our stuff and checked out of our hotel room, and I forgot and put a bottle of Starbucks Frappachino in the backpack - I was going to have it with breakfast from the Land...oops, glass bottle!

I was very apologetic to the security guard - my wife was wondering why when I remembered, glass bottle. The guard didn't make any fuss over it at all, except for when I said I'd just throw it in the trash, she insisted we at least drink it; turns out she likes them too and couldn't stand to see one thrown in the trash! She waved us right through when we were done - said she'd already seen our contraband (jokingly) and we were OK now!

I read your Subject and then your first sentence and was going to reply with, "Yes, Disney now lets you bring your children (including toddlers) into the Theme Parks" :animwink:

I guess I don't need to re-state what everyone else said, which is "Yes, you can take that stuff in the parks," so instead, I'll remind you that you may NOT take any missiles or missile-like objects in.

Or tasers.
