Those parks are really something. Imagine a trackless Buzz Lightyear..Lazers, guns, spinning, going forward/reverse. That technology is really amazing.

If you can dream it, you can do it.

If you truly want to go to Tokyo one day, you will.
Just know that you can. Taking a defeatist attitude and convincing yourself you CAN'T will produce exactly that result, you WON'T.

Try thinking to yourself, rather, one day I WILL go to Tokyo. Then later, refine that to a specific year, then a specific time period etc..

You will be amazed at how things will happen for you if you keep your goals clearly defined.

(edited for terribly poor spelling)

its more like 50/50. Windows is seen in pleanty of things in the parks...and as for crashing...computers only crash when there are new functions added that clash with old ones (basically)..so as long as they dont go installing random things on those computers..all is good. Linux can crash just like anything else.

And you guys all have to realize why these parks (tokyo and paris) get better rides than us. CUZ DISNEY DOESNT PAY FOR EM ;)

Thanks for correcting me. And Paris' rides aren't necessarily better than the U.S. ones, look at the WDSP. - The WeirdOne :D

JTTCOTE was amazing. My mouth just kept dropping...But then my jaw started hurting, so eventually I had to pull my mouth back up. The AA in there was crazy. If Stitch and the Yeti will be the most advanced AA's...I can't wait.

I haven't ridden it, but I did watch the video. Now I know it's probably entirely different riding it than merely observing it, but I do think I expected a bit too much of the attraction. The AA at the end did look awesome (and the theming of the volcano is amazing), but the rest of the ride looked just okay. It seems there isn't much reason for the sudden speed increase at the end, and then the ride just ends. I know it uses Test Track's technology, though I think I prefer Test Track overall. Again, I haven't ridden the former, so I could be entirely wrong, but going off of what I've read and watched that's how I feel.

Question: Does anyone know if Journey to the Center of the Earth breaks down as frequently as Test Track?

I haven't really heard much about it, just that it was entirely to short. I thought it was alright, but that AA was really something.

I remember a rumour awhile back that they were going to add JTTCOTE to DAK.
Personally I don't think it would work, however that type of ride but more Science less Fiction might work nice as a part of a geology pavillion at Epcot.

Don't judge an attraction by one video. I saw a full on photo shot tour of the ride and I was amazed, after a disapointing viewing of the video! That monster is AWESOM!!!! OMG!!!

I’m confident I saw the same photo tour you did. Mouse Planet’s right? Like I said, the themeing is awesome, but the ride itself didn't leave me too impressed.

jrriddle - I've heard similar rumors. I doubt the ride would come to Epcot because of its similarities to Test Track. Animal Kingdom would be more likely, though that also looks doubtful since EE is opening in a couple years. I really don't think it's a big loss.

I heard AK isn't getting a new ride next! I heard next up is........... A night show (no fireworks, so don't start the "scare the animals" debate)

Bill or Lee? Can you say more?

As for the picture tour, yes at Mouse Planet. The ride looks pretty good! And for whoever asked why the hell do you shoot out for no reason? Your in a volcano! Do the maths! :animwink:

Actually "theme wise" I would love to see JTTCOTE at Discoveryland in Paris. In fact all of Mysterious Island would work so well.

I think you're referring to me, and what I actually said was "It seems there isn't much reason for the sudden speed increase at the end, and then the ride just ends." While I know the volcano was erupting, I didn't see many visual clues to back this up (I'm not doubting what actually happens). Frankly, I think the concept for Geyser Mountain at Disneyland would have worked better for the effect they were trying to achieve.
