Just got back ... Rubbish

Did all 4 parks at Disney. What a load of rubbish. Nothing has literally changed since the last time i went there all those years ago. The Fantasy Land expansion?! What a load of crock.

Rides that would be out of date in the 80's are still going strong and bizarrely attracting massive crowds. The theming and landscape of the land is wonderful, but behind the vaneer or lucisous scenery lies nothing but MANICANS, plastic dummies dressed up and dross.

Apart from the fireworks at the end, Magic Kingdom really did me in. Woefull.

Epcot, love this park .... but nowadays seems a hibernation for people to consume alcohol. Although i did enjoy the small little shows around world showcase (i checked the times and watched them all). Loved Soarin', like i did 10 years ago.

Just ugh ..... criminal lack of investment. It's still amazing for first time tourists, but for repeat tourists it's becoming such a shame Disney have neglected the parks.

Decided against going back and hit a few parks outside Disney this time.

I hear you Darolyn, but reread the OP. "Rubbish", "load of croc", "criminal". C'mon really? I think those are the terms people are having a problem with. I have no problem with honest critisism but this seems to me more of an attack.

Gotta agree. Calling all four parks rubbish...and using some of the terms the OP did, especially in such a poorly written post, was not honest criticism...seemed more like a vengeful rant to stir the pot. Part of the post seemed incoherent. In my opinion, which could very well be wrong, part of the post was just silly...criminal lack of investment...just what is that?

Yes longevity and popularity in a ride seem to me to be positive things, hardly rubbish or woeful.

I agree that constructive critisicm is good but there are several people on here who attack you the very instant you post anything negative. The pixie dust snorters, if you will. While I love Disney just as much as the next person, I'm going to be truthful in my post and if something is negative, I want to state it, but usually don't for fear of being flamed by the masses!

Using those words is quite a stretch (in my opinion) but if that's how the OP feels, then that's how he feels. I don't think any amount of pixie dust will change his mind. That's ok though... that just means more for us right?

The New Fantasyland is still quite incomplete to me. I am sure it'll be fabulous once the SDMT opens, and the "full effect" of the New FL can be experienced. I am looking forward to the major changes Disney is making for the future ( Avatarland). Disney Springs has yet to impress me ( the plans) but we'll see... I'm still waiting for the new ideas to help DHS and EPCOT to be more up-to-date in some cases. All in good time.

On the other hand, there are several people on here who attack you the very instant you post anything positive. I think there are just some people who are incapable of seeing anyone else's POV..
