Was at The World from 9/26 - 10/7 and thought I'd post some pics...more to come later...

IMHO's:

1 - The repainting crane really annoyed me because it ruined a good
shot of the castle...BUT...they usually collapsed it by early-afternoon
I too was there last week and I also was slightly irked by the crane. I sure kills the magic when you walk through the gate and gaze down Main Street...

I don't usually chip in just to say great pix. But these are GREAT PIX!

We've never been to the Halloween special event, only the Christmas one. Looks like we may have to schedule an October trip!

I always see the guy on the left a lot there. I LOVE the french maid there. She is alway Blond.
The guy all the way on the left plays the one in the picture alot, but he also plays the butler, (plays that to the hilt!), saw him once as Emil. But the best curator is the guy second from the right, playing the butler, he interacts with the lady during the radio show with the best interpetation of the show dialog, always too interested with the young lady and not paying attention to the script. I managed to get him to take my wife's friend up for the show, I've got it on video, hysterical!! Also, your right, the maid, KIKI, is most times a blonde 24 days and counting till our 3rd visit this year!! NOT SOON ENOUGH!!! CAN"T WAIT!!! :D :sohappy:

The ADV Club member on the far right is one of my favorites as Emil. Always reminds me of Buster from Arrested Development when he's in that role. Oh and I have to agree, the actor who plays a Scottish Otis T. Wren is the best one in the whole cast, hands down, in any role he's in.

I think I need to borrow your camera for my next vacation. What kind did you use? Next time you go to Ohana's check and see if I'll be at WDW too and we'll pig out together! I love that place but I went alone last time, like you, and left almost sick with goodness and barely able to move.

Great pix! For the above comment, if you have a newer digital camera, check the manual settings. Mine has a setting just for fireworks.

Glad you had a good trip. However, I would rather have a crane than scaffolding covering the castle. It is definately a lesser evil.

My digicam is a Panasonic DMC-TZ1 5.1 Megapixel and I just got it before my trip and it's the BEST digicam I've ever had.

When I was there in May he jumped out of the hidden door at the left, spread out his arms, and knocked some guys camera across the room. The rest of the show he would say his line and then look at the guy and ask if his camera was ok. "It's ok right?" "Are you sure?" "I feel so bad about that". Hilarious.
