I don't think that's quite the publicity they want in covid times. A 10 hour socially distanced queue would lap around the entire park.

They could have done a virtual queue for Hagrid's. They didn't. trust me, there will be lines on opening day of this thing.

They didn't have the time. If you remember, the issues involving capacity showed up only 2 weeks before opening. Even now the main reason for the VQ is the line would spread out too far do to social distancing. And they don't even use the VQ every day even

Universal opened Secret Life of Pets with a virtual queue. I would bet they will do the same for Velocicoaster.
